Risk, Compliance & Audit

The Risk, Compliance, and Audit teams work together to create internal risk management and compliance processes, and ensure that they are operating effectively. They are the front line of evaluating whether the business is on a safe footing, working across functions, products, and regions to build this seamless infrastructure.

How we work

As a global financial services provider, these three functions are the core of ensuring that we are operating in a compliant way across all our operational territories, mitigating risks wherever they may arise. Our Risk team has Chief Risk Officers located at each of our entities around the world, who maintain strong links and communication through weekly meetings. Their global function meets monthly to hear updates and provide opportunities to raise ideas and concerns. The Compliance team adjusts their global meeting schedule on the volume of work, whereas the Audit team holds weekly global meetings, followed by team meetings specialised to different areas of the business.

How we collaborate

All teams put an emphasis on knowledge sharing and enabling people to learn from all areas of the business, not only those they are specialised in. From 1:1 mentoring with functional and line managers, to call-outs where people are invited to pitch in on projects when extra hands are needed, the opportunity to develop professionally is readily available. These teams are on the front lines of the business with exposure to many senior figures, consulted on decisions that they may not be exposed to in other industries.

How we link to the rest of Revolut

Though they are three separate functions, the Risk, Compliance, and Audit teams often work together across different projects. The Risk and Compliance teams also work cross-functionally with Legal. All three teams are often key players in most areas of the business, and are consulted on projects as far ranging as technology to customer support.
