Revolut is a bank that acts as a modern alternative to traditional financial institutions. It allows you to manage all your finances from your phone, and it simplifies sending and spending money globally.
Must be aged 16+ to open an account. T&Cs apply.
What is Revolut used for?
Revolut is an all-in-one digital money platform built to eliminate slow service and high fees that often come with traditional account providers.
- Real-time management: move money between spending, savings, and investments quickly in one app, and send money fast without waiting for transfers to clear. Settlement periods apply to investment proceeds of sales (1 or 2 days). Note that the risk is not the same for all accounts and while savings accounts offer a guaranteed return your capital is at risk when you invest it.
- Borderless spending: spend in 150+ countries, exchange and hold 36+ currencies in-app, and send money globally, all at competitive exchange rates. Exchange fees, global transfer fees, fair usage limits, and T&Cs apply.
- All-in-one app: manage your daily spending budget, your monthly bills, and your investment portfolio in a single place, with budgeting tools that help you take charge of your money. Budgeting tools don't apply to investments.
To sum up, Revolut allows you to change the way you money, right from your phone.

Your global travel companion
Revolut is designed to be the only account you need, even when you're away from home. Whether you’re on a weekend break or a global tour, you can spend like a local while enjoying extra benefits.
- Spend like a local: pay in 150+ countries with competitive exchange rates. Exchange fees and fair usage limits apply.
- No-fee ATM withdrawals: take out cash abroad without the 'tourist tax'. Limits apply based on your plan. Third-party fees may apply.
- Stay connected with eSIM: avoid expensive roaming charges by getting a travel eSIM directly in-app. eSIM T&Cs apply.
- Lounge before take-off: book an airport lounge pass directly in-app, and if you're a Premium, Metal, or Ultra customer, you'll have access to discounted or complimentary lounge passes. Airport Lounge T&Cs apply.
T&Cs apply.
Your international money transfer account
International money transfers shouldn't be complex, expensive, or slow. But often they are. With Revolut, you can send transfers to over 160 countries, and we'll always show you the exchange rate and any fees before you click send.
If you’re sending to someone with a Revolut account, we never charge transfer fees. Even better, it can be as easy as sending a text, no matter where they are in the world.
Exchange fees, global transfer fees, fair usage limits, and T&Cs apply.
Your budgeting assistant
- Spending categories: every card payment is automatically categorised, so you know exactly where your money is going (e.g., 'Restaurants' or 'Groceries'). You can set monthly spending limits for these groups and get alerts to take charge of your spending habits.
- Pockets: set money aside in dedicated sub-accounts to cover your bills, subscriptions, or other upcoming expenses. Link cards or regular payments to those Pockets so you always have control over what balance you’re spending from.
Wealth building, on your terms
Revolut is more than just an app for spending, sending, and budgeting. It offers savings and investment tools in the same app you use to manage your daily spending.
Savings
Earn daily-paid interest on savings: move your spare cash into Instant Access Savings to watch it grow every day with competitive rates.
Interest earned is liable to the applicable taxes. Instant Access Savings T&Cs apply.
Investments
Make your money work harder with flexible investment tools built for both seasoned investors and people just starting out.
- Invest in companies you know: you can start small with fractional shares in global companies. Fractional shares may not grant voting rights, and may carry higher volatility risks.
- Diversify with ease: beyond stocks you can invest in ETFs to help balance your portfolio. While diversification helps manage risk, it doesn’t eliminate it.
Investing your money carries additional risks compared to savings accounts, and your capital is at risk.
The value of your investment can go up as well as down. Invest T&Cs apply. You must be 18+ to open an investment account. Investment services are provided by Revolut Trading Ltd, a firm authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FRN: 933846).
