Revolut Japan celebrates its 3rd anniversary in October. And what better way to celebrate than providing extra spending benefits to loyal customers like you?

How can I participate?

Simply top up your Revolut account through a local bank transfer, then use your physical card to make qualifying offline purchases. You'll then receive up to 10% of each purchase amount in cashback.

When does it start?

Monday, October 16, 2023 - Thursday, November 15, 2023 (JST)

How much can I get? 

All active Revolut Japan customers who meet the qualifying requirements above will earn cashback. The amount of cashback earned depends on the bank used to make your transfer.

These are outlined below:

Minna Bank Cashback rate /Maximum cashback amount

• Standard: 10% /Up to ¥3,000
• Premium: 10% /Up to ¥4,000
• Metal： 10% /Up to ¥5,000  

Domestic Banks Cashback rate /Maximum cashback maximum amount

• Standard: 7.5% /Up to ¥2,000
• Premium: 7.5% /Up to ¥3,000
• Metal： 7.5% /Up to ¥4,000

Please note: the maximum cashback amount applies per person, and depends on a customer's plan, while the cashback rate differs depending on the transferring bank.

What else should I know?

• Card payments must be physical card transactions at physical merchants (limited to the purchase of goods and /services. Internet shopping, payments to e-wallets, payment providers, financial services, prepaid cards, or gift cards aren't valid) 
• To qualify, there's a minimum total card spend of 10,000 yen (this includes consumption tax)
• Funds previously added via card or other methods don't need to be spent beforehand to receive the cashback 
• Foreign-currency (non-JPY) purchases are also eligible for cashback 
• The maximum amount you can add to your account via bank transfer is ¥1,000,000 per transaction 
• It may take up to several minutes for the bank transfer to be added to your Revolut account. Delays may occur depending on the transferring bank

A few more things to keep in mind

• The actual cashback will be paid out in mid-January 2024. This will be paid directly into your Revolut account
• No pre-entry is required for this campaign
• Revolut reserves the right to change, suspend, or terminate this campaign in whole or in part without prior notice
