Who is Revolut Business for?
Revolut Business is designed for a wide range of companies. What you'll value most depends on your company's size.
For smaller businesses, we solve a common challenge that many companies face. According to our Head of Product, Pierre Cahuzac: "We hear often that businesses are tired of dealing with different partners for different aspects of their financial lives."
Revolut Business addresses that by bringing payments, currency exchange, expense management, bill automation, and savings into one platform, available on both mobile and web.
If you run a larger business, depth matters as much as breadth. With access to custom spend controls, approval rules, bulk payments, and accounting software integrations, you can manage complex operations as your business grows.
Pierre explains that many of these tools were once out of reach for smaller teams: "We're building features that are very sophisticated and were usually only for larger companies. We've made them available so that even smaller businesses can access these automations."
Revolut Business is a particularly strong fit for your company if you:
- deal in multiple currencies or pay international suppliers regularly
- need to issue cards to your team, while keeping transactions on policy with spend controls
- want a comprehensive solution to manage payments, currency exchange, bills, and expenses
- need accounting software integrations to connect to tools like Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage
To open an account, your company needs to be fully set up and registered, and not operating in an unsupported industry. If you're a sole trader or freelancer, Revolut Business isn't available to you, but you may be eligible for Revolut Pro instead.

What do I get with a Revolut Business account?
Payments and transfers
You can receive and hold payments in 25+ currencies, and send transfers to 150+ destinations in 35+ currencies. If your business is registered in the UK, you'll get a sort code and an account number for easy local transactions, as well as global details for international payments.
You can also set up Direct Debits, generate invoices, and make bulk payments to up to 1,000 suppliers or employees in a few clicks. And with Revolut Pay, you can accept payments from our 70+ million customers.
Spend management and expenses
Revolut Business provides the tools you need to manage spend both before and after it happens.
You can issue physical and virtual cards to your team, set custom spending rules per card or per person, and see all transactions in real-time. Approval workflows ensure the right people sign off on spend, without slowing your team down.
Pierre remembers how complex managing expenses was before having these tools: "I would often postpone it just because I didn't want to upload the receipt — scan it, take the picture, wait for the thing to load. Everything was so slow and painful."
With Revolut Business, submitting and reconciling expenses is simple. Your team just snaps a photo of the receipt, and we'll automatically match it to the right transaction.
Our expense management tools also connect with the accounting tools you already use, including Xero, QuickBooks, and SageHR. That means you can sync your records and keep your books up to date without the manual work.
Bill payments
Revolut BillPay automates the process of paying bills from start to finish. What used to be a tedious process is now a one-step approval.
Pierre outlines how it works: "If you receive a bill, you'll receive an email. It'll automatically create a draft payment with everything filled in. You get a push notification, you click on it, you approve. The payment will be scheduled for when the bill is due. And once it's paid, it'll be automatically reconciled with your accounting software."
If you have multiple bills to pay, you can upload them at once and review all the draft payments together, with your spend controls applied throughout.
Currency exchange
Our multi-currency accounts let you hold 25+ currencies and exchange between them at the interbank rate (within your plan's monthly no-fee allowance, during market hours), saving you money on every transaction.
To manage currency risk, you can set up Stop and Limit orders to exchange automatically when rates hit your target.
Savings
With our savings accounts, you'll earn interest on your spare cash, paid daily. Most banks make you wait weeks, months, or years for interest payments to land, but with us, you'll see your balance grow every single day.
Open a savings account in minutes, add money when you want to, and withdraw anytime with no fees or minimum balances.
Available on our Grow, Scale, and Enterprise plans. Interest rates depend on your plan. T&Cs apply.
