Kickstart your 2026 finances with the account made for two. Whether you're friends, family, or partners, the Revolut Joint account helps you manage your money better, together.
Make sure you keep your New Year’s resolutions on track with a new, smarter way to manage shared finances — available starting today, with no paperwork required.
What can you do with a Joint account?
A Joint account makes shared money simpler by streamlining your joint spend — there's no need to cover costs for each other and settle up later, or to collect receipts to calculate expenses at the end of the month. Expenses are paid from your shared account the moment you use your Joint account card. It’s that simple.
An account made for two
Our Joint accounts are flexible — they're designed for diverse relationships, including partners, friends, family (18+), housemates, or anyone else you want to share your spending with.
- For couples and partners: consolidate living expenses, grocery bills, and other monthly outgoings
- For shared interests: add and use money for expeditions, tickets, merchandise, hobbies, your next pilgrimage, and beyond
- For limited-time projects: think short-term plans like spring break or your next vacation
- For parents and adult children (18+): securely share and track expenses together, perfect for sending allowances to students and managing living expenses for elderly parents
No more splitting bills on trips abroad
Go borderless — you can manage and share 35+ currencies, including Japanese yen, US dollars, and euros, all in-app.
When dining or shopping overseas, you can make payments directly from your shared local currency balance. You don't have to worry about converting currency or keeping track of what you owe your travel partner.
With competitive exchange rates and low fees,¹ you can focus entirely on enjoying the travel experience.

Two cards, one vision
Get matching physical cards for your shared spend, or go virtual. Choose from exclusive designs just for Joint accounts, available in 11 different colours.
You'll each have your own card, so you can make payments smoothly even when you're in different locations. Plus, you'll both receive real-time notifications after every transaction — ensuring complete transparency even when you're apart.
Customise your settings
With individual control over your own card's security settings, you can instantly freeze lost or stolen cards in-app, choose spending limits that fit your lifestyle, and more.

²Funds available for Joint accounts, including transfers from your Revolut personal account to a Joint account, are limited to those received via bank transfer (including instant bank top-ups) or via personal transfers from other Revolut users. Please note that funds topped up via credit cards, debit cards, prepaid cards, Apple Pay, or Google Pay can't be used for Joint accounts.
³For Standard plan customers, an exchange fee of 1.0% applies to transactions made outside of currency exchange market hours, from Friday at 5pm to Sunday at 6pm (Eastern Time). An exchange allowance limit of JPY300,000 (or its equivalent in another currency) applies in each rolling monthly cycle. T&Cs apply.
⁴The amount available for free ATM withdrawals varies depending on the plan. If you exceed the free limit, a 2% fee will be charged, but you will still be able to make withdrawals, ensuring peace of mind in case of an emergency. You can withdraw cash at ATMs inside or outside of Japan using your Revolut card. However, money added (topped up) with a credit card, debit card, or prepaid card can be used for card payments (purchases), but not for cash withdrawals or money transfers. For more information, refer to the Fees Page on the official Revolut website. Submission of your MyNumber is mandatory for all international transfers including ATM withdrawals.
⁵In Japan, Apple Pay and Google Pay aren't available for children under 13 years of age.
