Benefits of a Revolut account in the US

Once you've opened your account, you can start using our tools right away.

One of our most popular features is our High-Yield Savings account. This account lets you earn a competitive interest rate on your money, helping your savings grow faster than they might in a traditional checking account.

We also make it easy to spend your money ‌securely. Whether you’re tapping a physical card in-store or using a virtual card online, stay in control with real-time spending notifications. For an extra layer of protection, use our regular or single-use virtual cards to keep your main details private.

If you need to send money to friends or family, we offer fast transfers to other Revolut customers. We also provide competitive exchange rates and clear information on any fees before you send money abroad. This means you always know exactly how much you're sending and how much your recipient will end up with.

Keeping your money secure

Security is built into every Revolut account. We use advanced technology to monitor for suspicious activity and help protect your account from unauthorized access.

In the US, money in your Revolut account is held by partner banks, making them eligible for FDIC insurance up to $250,000, in line with the protection offered by traditional banks.

You can also manage security in-app. For example, you can freeze or unfreeze your card right away if it’s lost, and disable features like contactless payments or ATM withdrawals when needed. Never share your passcode or verification codes with anyone, and if your card is ever lost or stolen, freeze it right away.
