Monzo Business helps freelancers and sole traders get started with business accounting, offering cards for up to 15 team members. Monzo Business partners with Wise to let you send international payments. But, keep in mind you can only hold GBP in a Monzo Business account.
Monzo Business also offers overdrafts and business loans for sole traders, which could help you get your business off the ground or improve your cashflow.
Revolut Business provides a range of features for businesses operating globally, such as multi-currency accounts. It allows you to send international transfers and exchange currencies at the interbank rate during market hours on weekdays, within your plan limits.
With Revolut Business, you can also add unlimited team members to your account, and issue physical or virtual cards to them all. This might make it more suitable than Monzo if you've got a small business with more than 15 employees.
If you run an ecommerce or in-person shop and are selling at scale, you might also prefer Revolut Business for its payment acceptance features. With a Revolut Business account, you can take payments using Revolut Reader, Revolut POS, Tap to Pay on iPhone, and much more.

Monzo Business works with Stripe to offer card payment features. It lets you request individual payments in person and remotely through payment links, invoices, Tap to Pay on iPhone, and Tap to Pay on Android. You'll need to sign up for Stripe as well as Monzo Business to access these features, and Stripe's fees will apply.
Revolut Business offers a variety of built-in payment options that allow you to sell directly, without needing another external account. Besides requesting individual payments via invoices or payment links, you can power your checkout online and take payments with Revolut Pay.
You can also use Revolut Reader, Revolut POS, and Tap to Pay on iPhone to take payments in person. Our payment tools offer 24-hour processing and competitive pay-per-transaction fees.
