Apply for a Revolut Basic account
If you're unable to open a regular bank account, you may be eligible for a Basic account with limited features. This is regulated through a European Directive (2014/92/EU) which sets out the eligibility criteria and functionalities.

Check if you're eligible
You can only apply for a Basic account if you don't have another bank account in the Republic of Lithuania.
You won’t be able to open a Basic account if you've intentionally used an account to commit criminal offences, leading to the account closure, within the past 2 years.
Basic accounts are provided in EUR, free of charge. You don't need to purchase other services from us to have one.
How to apply
Before applying for a Basic account, make sure you meet the criteria listed on this page. Please note that this account will have basic functionality only, and you may be restricted from accessing all current and future features in the Revolut app. This application may take more time than usual, as it requires additional checks.
