What is the Promotion about?

Through the Share Your Pride Giveaway (“thePromotion”), Revolut Ltd. is offering Revolut Insider Instagram followers an opportunity to earn a Revolut Pride Swag bag (a “Pride Swag Bag”) which will include the following Revolut Pride branded items:

  • tote bag;
  • pair of socks;
  • badge/pin; and
  • stickers.

This Promotion will run from 12:00 PM BST on Monday 17 July 2023 to 11:59 PM BST on Monday 24 July 2023. We call this the “Promotion Period”.

These “Share Your Pride» Giveaway" Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) set out the rules of the Promotion. You must comply with these Terms to participate in the Promotion.

Users based in the England, Scotland or Wales will be able to participate in this Promotion as long as they meet the eligibility criteria set out in the “What do I need to do to take part in the Promotion?”.

Who is an Eligible Participant?

You are an Eligible Participant:

  • If you are a resident of England, Scotland or Wales;
  • If you are 18 or over;
  • Whether you have a Revolut account or not.

What do I need to do to take part in the Promotion?

To earn a Pride Swag Bag, you will need to complete the following steps during the Promotion Period:

  • Follow @revolutinsider on Instagram (if you haven’t already);
  • Like and comment on the Eligible Post from the @revolutinsider Instagram account that invites you to enter the Promotion;
  • Your comment must tag a friend and your tag must include your friend’s Instagram handle;
  • Get your tagged friend to follow @revolutinsider on Instagram as well;
  • Make sure both you and your friend are residents of England, Scotland or Wales, as giveaways will not be sent to addresses from other countries.

The post inviting you to enter the Pride Swag Giveaway will start with the words “Share your pride” and contain the word “Giveaway”. Only comments made on this post during the Promotion Period are eligible for the Pride Swag Giveaway (we call this the “Eligible Post”). Comments on other posts will not be included in the Pride Swag Giveaway entries.

We refer to the above as the “Eligibility criteria”.

How will Revolut select the winner?

During the Promotion Period, Revolut Ltd will hold one giveaway (a “Pride Swag Giveaway”). On 25 July 2023, Revolut will export all comments on the Eligible Post and randomly select 5 of them through an automated formula. We’ll then have 10 eligible participants, as 5 comments will be randomly selected and both the user who commented and the tagged friend will be sent a Pride Swag Bag.

Comments by the same Eligible Participant who tags different friends will be counted as separate entries, so enter as many times as you’d like.

Revolut will select 5 comments, from which 10 winners will be selected (5 pairs of friends).

How do I receive the Pride Swag Bag?

On 25 July 2023, the winners will be notified via Instagram direct message from the Revolut Insider Instagram account (@revolutinsider).

You will each be asked to provide your name and delivery address for review. Upon confirmation that you meet the Eligibility Criteria, the Pride Swag Bag will be mailed within two weeks of the end of the Promotion Period.

Please note that we will not be sending Pride Swag Bags outside of England, Scotland and Wales.

What other legal information should I know?

In addition, the following terms and conditions apply to this promotion:

  1. This promotion is organised and offered by Revolut Ltd, a company whose registered address is at 7 Westferry Circus, London, E14 4HD.
  2. This promotion is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by Instagram.
  3. If there are fewer than ten eligible winning participants, the full number of prizes will not be awarded.
  4. We’ll announce the winners in our Instagram Stories. If you do not want us to share your information in our Instagram stories, please let us know via Instagram Direct Message, when we contact you but we may still need to provide this information where requested, in line with advertising laws.
  5. We may also cancel this Promotion or change these Promotion Terms at any time. If we exercise this right, we will try to give you advance notice.
  6. We may suspend or end the Promotion earlier than the end date we’ve mentioned above if, in our reasonable opinion, the Promotion is being abused or may negatively affect Revolut’s goodwill or reputation. We may do this on an individual or promotion-wide basis.
  7. If we have reasonable grounds to believe that you have engaged in any fraud or material abuse of this giveaway (for example attempting to obtain an unfair advantage through deception) we may in our sole discretion take any actions we see fit in the circumstances.
  8. If your comment is abusive, offensive or damaging, it will not be eligible for this competition.
  9. Events beyond the control of Revolut may occur that render the awarding of the Pride Swag Bag impossible. Accordingly, Revolut will not be liable for any loss, whether directly or indirectly suffered, as a result of an event outside of its control.
  10. Revolut Ltd is the controller of any personal data collected and processed in terms of the Promotion. If you are selected as a winner, Revolut will contact you via direct message on Instagram and will be sharing your personal data with the third party in order to arrange the delivery of the Pride Swag Bag. More information on how Revolut processes personal data can be found in Revolut's Customer Privacy Notice.
  11. The official version of these terms and conditions is the English version. We may provide translations as a courtesy, but the English language version shall prevail and be used in any dispute or proceedings.
  12. For all participants, to the extent permitted by law, these Terms and conditions shall be exclusively governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall exclusively be submitted to and dealt with by the competent court in England.
