What happens during this interview?
- AI Interaction: You will speak directly with "Aura," an AI conversational voice agent, to discuss your working style and alignment with Revolut's core values.
- Human Decision-Making: Aura acts strictly as a decision-support tool to assist our recruitment team. It does not make automated hiring decisions, conduct emotion recognition, or analyse biometric features. A human recruiter reviews your transcript and Aura’s analysis before deciding whether your application progresses.
What data we collect and why
- Voice Audio: Your spoken answers are used to generate a real-time text transcript. Your voice recording is kept for 7 days for technical reasons after it has been transcribed.
- Transcripts & AI Scorecards: Your written transcript is analysed against Revolut’s behavioural pillars to generate a candidate scorecard summary with verbatim quotes for your recruiter.
- CV Details: Background details from your application are used to dynamically frame relevant interview questions.
Your choices and privacy rights
- Optional: Participating in an AI-led interview is entirely voluntary and based on your consent.
- Right to Withdraw Consent: Taking part in an AI-led interview is entirely optional and will not negatively impact your application. You can withdraw your consent and request an alternative assessment method at any point:
- Before the interview: Reply to your invitation email or contact your recruiter or dpo@revolut.com to request a non-AI interview.
- During the interview: Simply close your interview screen or tell the AI voice agent to "stop". Then, contact your recruiter to arrange an alternative evaluation.
- After the interview: You may withdraw your consent at any time. If your recruiter has not yet completed your scorecard review, an alternative assessment will be offered to progress your application. If your assessment has already been completed, we will delete your voice recordings and transcripts, and retain only the recruiter’s assessment outcome in accordance with applicable laws.
- Your Rights: You can withdraw your consent at any time and ask us to delete the interview audio and transcript that was created through the AI-led interview as mentioned above. Other recruitment information, including the recruiter assessment outcome may still be kept where we need it for the wider recruitment process. You can also request a copy of your personal data by contacting dpo@revolut.com.
International data transfers
We partner with AI providers located in the USA in providing this feature. On this basis, we enter into robust data protection contracts, which include appropriate safeguards for the transfer of your personal data, including EU Standard Contractual Clauses or reliance on the Data Privacy Framework, where appropriate.
