What is this promotion about?
- What: Revolut is offering new customers the opportunity to be entered into a prize draw (the Prize Draw) for a chance to win 2 access codes for the sold out BMW Berlin Marathon taking place on 27 September 2026. The 2 access codes will enable the winner to purchase two tickets to participate in the marathon (the Prize). The access code will be redeemable on the SCC (Sport-Club Charlottenburg) Events website only. Note that the access code has no economic value.
- Who: Existing customers residing in Spain, Germany or the United Kingdom (the Market(s)), who have not opted in to RevPoints programme and who complete the required steps below.
- When: The promotion will be available from 22 June 2026 23:50 UTC to 24 June 2026 23:50 UTC (the Promotion Period).
You must comply with these terms, the Personal Terms that apply to your Revolut Personal account, and the RevPoints Terms to participate in this promotion.
Eligibility and required steps
To be eligible for this promotion, you must:
- have a registered address in a Market,
- be an existing Revolut Personal customer with an active, unrestricted account,
- not have opted in to RevPoints before, and
- be at least 18 years old.
The required steps are:
- Click on the promotion unique link – this will be provided via the push notification which links out to an in-app product article.
- Opt-in to RevPoints in the Revolut app.
You must use the promotion unique link provided as part of this promotion to opt in to RevPoints. If you opt in using the normal process in our app, you will not be able to take part in this promotion.
How do I enter the prize draw?
One day after the end of the Promotion Period, we will include the Revolut usernames of all eligible participants in the prize draw, and we will randomly select one eligible participant as the winner.
If you are the winner, we will notify you via email (to the email address registered to your Revolut Personal account). You will have 24 hours from the time we initially reach out to you to accept the Prize. If you do not respond within this time, we will randomly select another eligible participant from the prize draw to be the winner.
If we contact you to tell you that you have won but within 24 hours of contacting you we realise that you no longer meet the criteria to be considered an eligible participant, we will be unable to award you with the Prize, and we will randomly select another eligible participant from the prize draw to be the winner.
Each eligible participant who is selected as a winner will have the same amount of time to accept the Prize.
Our decisions on how to run and manage the promotion, including the selection of the winner, are final and binding.
Legal bits and pieces
Legal bit | Pieces |
Promotion abuse or misuse | We may suspend, change, or end the promotion – for a specific participant or for everyone – if we believe that it’s being abused, could harm Revolut’s goodwill or reputation, or reasonably unforeseeable circumstances that are outside of our control arise and make it impossible to continue the promotion. We will not be liable for any loss if we do so. If you have not started to take part in the promotion, we can freely withdraw it 5 days or more after it was published. Any issues? Contact Support in the Revolut app. |
Changes or early end | If the promotion changes or ends early but has not been withdrawn, we will tell you the same way we invited you to the promotion (e.g. email, push notification, in-app). Where possible, we will give notice through the Revolut app and/or email. Don’t worry – if you’ve already taken part in the promotion, changes to the terms won’t affect you unless the promotion is suspended or ends because of reasonably unforeseen circumstances outside of our control which make it impossible to run. |
Fraud or rule-breaking | If you breach the Revolut Personal Terms, these terms, or participate in the promotion fraudulently, we may reverse any Prize. By proceeding, you authorise any such reversal in advance. |
Account closed or restricted | To receive the Prize, you must have an active Personal account (not closed, suspended, restricted or being offboarded) throughout the Promotion Period and/or at the time you are due to receive the Prize. |
Taxes | You’re responsible for any local tax that applies to your Prize. Revolut doesn’t accept any liability for tax arising from your participation in the promotion. |
Tax in Spain | If you are a resident of Spain, any prize, such as the Prize, is subject to Personal Income Tax. The full amount of the prize will be paid to you, and no withholding will be applied. You are solely responsible for declaring the value of your Prize and paying any applicable taxes (currently 19%) to the Spanish tax authorities. |
Data & Privacy | We’ll process your personal data in line with the Customer Privacy Notice that applies to your Revolut Personal account. BMW Berlin-Marathon may also collect personal data or send marketing to you in connection with this promotion. See BMW Berlin-Marathon’s privacy notice for more details about how they will handle your personal data and contact them to manage your marketing preferences. For customers in the United Kingdom, we’re legally required to publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. So we’ll share the surname and postcode area of winners to anyone who contacts Support within 30 days after the prize draw. You can object to your surname and postcode area being published or made available by contacting Support. We’ll still need to share this information with the regulator, the Advertising Standards Authority, on request. |
