Revolut, the global fintech company with more than 65 million retail customers and hundreds of thousands of business customers worldwide, today announced that Revolut Business customers in Singapore can now accept in-person contactless payments using Tap to Pay on iPhone through their Revolut Business iOS app. Tap to Pay on iPhone supports credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, and other digital wallets — with no additional hardware or payment terminal required.

Using Tap to Pay on iPhone is easy, secure and private. To accept a payment with Tap to Pay on iPhone, the customer simply needs to hold their contactless card or payment device near the merchant's iPhone until the transaction is completed - just like with a traditional contactless payment terminal.

Apple’s Tap to Pay on iPhone technology uses the built-in security and privacy features of iPhone to help protect customer data. Apple doesn’t store card numbers or transaction information on the device or on Apple servers, so businesses can rest assured that their data stays theirs.*

Tap to Pay on iPhone is easy to set up and use. Businesses can unlock contactless payment acceptance within minutes through the Revolut Business app on an iPhone XS or later, running the latest version of iOS. From there, they can sign up with a Revolut Business account directly within the app to start accepting contactless payments.
