INFLUENCER PROMOTION TERMS - CASH AWARD
What is this Promotion about?
The Revolut x Influencer Promotion (the "Promotion") is offered by REVOLUT TECHNOLOGIES JAPAN, Inc.( "Revolut", "we", "our", or "us") .
The Promotion offers you as a resident of Japan the opportunity to receive a certain amount of cash award ("Cash Award") if you open a Revolut account for the first time through the referral link of the relevant influencer partner who carried out the Promotion (the "Influencer Partner") and make card payments of a certain amount within 1 month after the opening of the said account.
These Terms and Conditions set out the rules that apply to you and us in relation to the Promotion, and you must comply with these Terms and Conditions and any other terms and conditions that apply to your Revolut account when participating in the Promotion.
Promotion Period
The Promotion will run for a specific period of time (the "Promotion Period") as set out on the Revolut landing page (the "Landing Page"), which will be displayed when the unique link for the Promotion is clicked in the Influencer Partner’s app, website, social media, email, SMS or push notification.
What do I need to do to take part in the Promotion?
To be eligible for this Promotion, you must meet all of the following conditions:
- Be a resident of Japan;
- Open a new Revolut account through a unique link in the Influencer Partner's app, website, social media, email, SMS or push notification. Please note that the Landing Page that will be displayed when you click on the unique link for this Promotion will provide you with important details about this Promotion, including the Terms and Conditions, the Promotion Period, the minimum spend required to be eligible for the Cash Award and the Cash Award amount. After entering your phone number, you will be taken through to the Revolut account opening flow;
- Complete our Know Your Customer (KYC) process during the Promotion Period;
- Complete the opening of your Revolut account during the Promotion Period. If you already have a Revolut account you won’t be eligible for this Promotion;
- Your Revolut account has not been terminated, suspended or restricted in the past; and
- Within 1 month after opening your new Revolut account, top up funds to your Revolut account and make card transactions of at least the amount specified on the landing page.
For the avoidance of doubt, a card transaction means you use your Revolut physical or virtual card to purchase goods and/or services from a third-party merchant by entering the details of your Revolut physical or virtual card into their payment processing system. Transfers of funds, payments to e-wallets, gambling, payment providers, financial services, prepaid cards or gift cards, or the purchase of commodities within the Revolut app, do not qualify as card transactions.
How do I get my Cash Award?
Upon fulfilment of the above conditions of participation, a Cash Award in the amount set out on the Landing Page will be credited to your Revolut account within 10 days from the date of fulfilment of the said conditions of participation.
What other legal information should I know?
- We may, at our sole discretion, suspend, terminate or change the Promotion or change these Terms and Conditions in whole or in part without prior notice.
- Events beyond our control or other events that are force majeure for us may occur that render the awarding of the Cash Award impossible. Accordingly, we will not be liable for any loss, whether directly or indirectly suffered, as a result of such an event.
- To be eligible for the Cash Award of the Promotion, you must comply with these Terms and Conditions and all other terms and conditions applicable to your Revolut account.
- If the Cash Award is earned fraudulently, you breach these Terms and Conditions or other terms and conditions applicable to your Revolut account or you have engaged in any fraud or abuse of this Promotion (such as for example attempting to obtain an unfair advantage through deception), or if we reasonably suspect any of the above, we may, at our sole discretion, take appropriate action (including restricting or closing your account or voiding your rewards) as we see fit under the circumstances.
- If your Revolut account is closed or becomes suspended or restricted before you receive the Cash Award under this Promotion, then you will no longer be entitled to receive the Cash Award and it will not be paid to you.
- Revolut is not responsible for any marketing sent directly by the Influencer Partner to its existing customers. If you do not wish to receive marketing from the Influencer Partner you must manage your marketing preferences with the Influencer Partner.
- These Terms and Conditions were originally published in Japanese and any translation is a courtesy translation only. This means you cannot derive any rights from any translated version and only the Japanese version can be used in legal proceedings.
- These Terms and Conditions constitute a contract between you and Revolut Technologies Japan, Inc.. Please contact us for any questions or concerns you may have.
- These Terms and Conditions are governed by Japanese law. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms and Conditions is subject to the exclusive agreed jurisdiction of the first instance of the Tokyo District Court.
