Revolut's trading fees
Commission-free trades
You'll be able to make a certain number of commission-free stock and exchange-traded funds (ETF) trades within your plan's rolling monthly allowance. The quotas for each plan type, where available, are as follows:
- Standard: 1 trade
- Plus: 3 trades
- Premium: 5 trades
- Metal and Ultra: 10 trades
Stock and ETF trades outside of your monthly allowance are subject to a commission fee.
Commission fees
Stock and ETF orders outside the monthly allowance will be subject to a commission fee. This will be the greater of 0.25% of the order amount if you're a Standard, Plus, Premium, or Metal customer, or USD 1.00
For all ETF recurring buy orders, the variable commission remains the same, but there's no minimum country fee. Commissions won't be applied to recurring buy orders on selected ETFs if you set them up with our ETF investment plan feature.
Regulatory fees
When applicable, the regulatory fees imposed by regulators will be withheld from your sales proceeds.
US stocks
Regulators, such as the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), impose fees on trading US stocks. When applicable, the fees levied will be charged on sell orders and withheld from your sales proceeds.
The FINRA charges brokerage firms a small fee on sell orders, to support the costs of regulation and supervision. For stocks, all sales are charged at a rate of $0.000195 per share. A minimum charge of $0.01, and a maximum charge of $9.79 apply. This is also known as the trading activity fee (TAF).
Other fees
- American Depositary Receipt (ADR) pass-through fees: fees charged by a depositary bank on your ADR holdings. They generally range from $0.01 to $0.05 per share and are normally charged once per year, depending on the ADR.
- Custody fees: we won't charge you any custody fees
- Currency exchange (FX) fees: to fund your brokerage account and execute a trading order, you might need to convert the currency in your main Revolut account. Currency exchange fees vary depending on your plan.
