  • One free Metal card (Metal designs). You may choose either the Combo card or the Global Debit card as your complimentary card. The first card you request to be issued will be the one provided free of charge.

Note: Any additional cards requested beyond your first free card will be subject to a fee, as outlined in the ‘Additional Revolut Cards’ section below.

Important: If you decide to withdraw from your plan within 7 days of joining, and your complimentary Metal card has already been issued, we may charge a fee to cover the card's manufacturing and shipping costs and show it before you proceed. Prices will be the same as any "Additional Revolut Cards".

All other international payments with currency exchange

A foreign currency transfer occurs when a transfer is made in a currency that is not the recipient's local currency (for example, sending USD to the United Kingdom). In this case, the applicable fees will be:

  • 0.5% for all transfers (to another person within Brazil or internationally).

As a Metal user, you have unlimited Fair Usage on exchange.

Card Transfers

Card transfers will be charged 7.50 BRL + 0.8% for all plans.

Exchange

Whenever you make a foreign exchange transaction using Revolut, we use simple and transparent pricing:

  • You get the Revolut exchange rate;
  • We add an exchange fee (if one applies); and
  • Where possible, we will tell you the total cost before you make the exchange.

This pricing applies to exchanges in FIAT currencies. We’ve explained it in more detail below.

Exchanges involving BRL

Metal customers are entitled to a monthly fee-free currency exchange allowance of BRL 10,000. This limit applies to the aggregate volume of all transactions, including both conversions from BRL into foreign currencies and conversions from foreign currencies back into BRL.

Once you exceed this limit, a total fee of 1.4% for exchanging BRL to foreign currencies and 1.0% exchanging foreign currencies to BRL shall be applied to the value of each subsequent exchange transaction performed within the same monthly cycle.

Between Other Currencies

Metal users pay no fees when exchanging foreign currencies.

Exchanging cryptocurrencies

Whenever you exchange crypto using Revolut, we use our pricing formula: "rate + fee = total cost."

The rate we use for crypto is defined in our Terms and Conditions for Crypto. It’s set by us, based on the rate offered by crypto exchanges, and it has a variable rate (meaning it constantly changes). You can always view the current crypto exchange rate in the Revolut app.

When you exchange crypto, we will charge the following fees:

A fee of 0.79% of the value of your crypto transaction or the equivalent of USD 1.00 (one U.S. dollar), whichever is greater. This fee amount is based on your country of residence.

As always, we’ll show you the rate, fee, and total cost in the Revolut app before making any exchange.
