FAQs
- A multi-currency business account lets you manage business finances across multiple currencies in one account. With a Revolut Business account, you can send and receive international payments in a number of different currencies, including: GBP, EUR, USD, ZAR, TRY, SAR, SGD, SEK, RON, PLN, NZD, NOK, MXN, JPY, ILS, HUF, HKD, DKK, CZK, CHF, CAD, AUD, BGN, QAR, THB, and AED.Learn more.
- A multi-currency business account allows your business to operate like a local in multiple regions by enabling you to send and receive international payments in different currencies. You can create local account details for GBP, EUR, and USD, which enables sending and receiving payments in each of those regions. You can hold multiple currencies at once without needing to exchange currencies as transfers land into your account, and you can switch one currency over to another. You don't need to move money between different regional Business accounts, because you can manage it all in one place.
- A multi-currency account makes it easy to do business across multiple regions. You can receive payments in currencies different from where your business is based. For example, an ecommerce business in the UK can accept payments for their products in EUR, and pay their suppliers in USD, all from a single account.
- With Revolut Business, you can exchange currencies at great rates.
- A 0.6% fee is applied to each exchange beyond your plan's monthly allowance (which varies by plan)
- A 1% fee is applied to exchanges outside market hours
- You can quickly set up unique local currency accounts in your business's name to make and receive local payments. Enjoy local payments with:
- Local GBP account details (BACS and Faster Payments for GBP payments in the UK)
- Local EUR account details (SEPA for EUR payments in the EEA)
- Local USD account details (ACH for USD payments in the USA)
- To add or remove access to specific accounts for a team member:
- Go to your Business account → Select the specific account → Click on the three dots (...) → Account settings
- Click on Account access → Manage
- On the Manage account access screen, Select or deselect team members → Update
You’re able to operate in multiple currencies once you open your Revolut Business account because we offer a multi-currency IBAN, which is a single IBAN that can accept money in many currencies.
When you receive funds, we check the currency of the transfer, and place it in the relevant currency account (if supported), without exchanging the currency. This way, you can save money by minimising currency exchange costs where possible.
