Revolut Salary Promotion

What is this Promotion about?

As part of the Revolut Salary Promotion (the “Promotion”), Revolut is offering its new potential customers in the Netherlands (the “Eligible Market”) the opportunity to sign up to Revolut for the first time using a link or a code provided by an affiliated Revolut partner or on the Revolut website, transfer their salary into their Revolut account and receive a cash reward of up to 80 EUR (the “Cash Reward”).

These terms (the “Promotion Terms”) set out the rules that apply to this Promotion, and you must comply with these Promotion Terms and also the Personal terms that apply to your Revolut Personal account at all times when participating in this Promotion.

To take part in this Promotion, you must meet the eligibility criteria and complete the required steps set out in these Promotion Terms between a specific period of time (the “Promotion Period”). The Promotion Period will be set out on the Revolut web page accessible via the unique link for the Promotion (the “Promotion Landing page”).

Who is eligible for this Promotion?

To be considered an “Eligible Participant” for this Promotion you must meet the following “Eligibility Criteria”:

• have a residential address in an Eligible Market listed above;
• not have or have previously held a Revolut Personal account with any Revolut group entity;
• Be at least 18 years of age.

You must also complete the following “Required Steps” before the end of the Promotion Period:

• use a unique link or code provided by a Partner, or accessible on Landing page, which is valid in Eligible Market. If you do not use a valid link or code - for example, if you sign up using the normal account opening process on our website or app, or if you sign up using a link or code that is not valid in the specified Eligible Market - you will not earn the reward.
• Successfully open a Revolut Personal account for the first time through the Promotion unique link; and
• Deposit your salary into your Revolut account (the minimum amount to be credited is specified on the Promotion Landing page) before the 1st of May 2024. This amount has to be transferred to your Revolut account by your employer for the entire Promotion period.
• Not to transfer your salary deposit to another account held by you within 7 days from the date it was credited to your Revolut account;
• Make at least three card purchases of any value per month during the Promotion period to be eligible for the Cash Reward. The three card purchases can be made using a virtual or physical card. These must be eligible purchases for goods or services (for example, card transactions to payment, gambling, gift card, currency or exchange service providers, and money transfers are not valid).

How do I get my cash reward?

If you meet all the eligibility criteria and complete the steps outlined in “What do I need to do to take part in this Promotion?”, you will be eligible for a Cash Reward.

The Promotion has a tier system that includes 4 (four) incentive tiers depending on how long you meet eligibility criteria. Based on these tiers, you will receive 20 EUR at the end of each month during the Promotion period. Cash Rewards add up and are equal to 80 EUR total.

If you do not meet the conditions by the end of a given month, you will not receive the Cash reward for that month, and no longer be eligible for the Cash Reward for the following month.

Your Cash Reward will be paid directly to your Revolut account within 10 working days after you meet eligibility criteria after each tier period.

What other legal information should I know?

1. We may suspend or end the Promotion early if, in our reasonable opinion, it is being abused or may negatively affect Revolut’s goodwill or reputation. We may do this on an individual or promotion-wide basis.
2. We can cancel this Promotion, or change these Promotion Terms at any time. If we do, we will announce this in the same way the Promotion was announced and, where possible, we will try to give you notice through the app and/or email.
3. If we have reasonable grounds to believe that you have engaged in any fraud or material abuse of this Promotion (such as for example attempting to obtain an unfair advantage through deception) we may in our sole discretion take any actions we see fit in the circumstances, including reversing any Cash Reward. We will consider any reversal to have been done with your consent and the payment to have been authorised by you.
4. If your Revolut Personal account is suspended, closed or restricted before you receive a Cash Reward, you will lose your entitlement to it.
5. Events beyond the control of Revolut may also occur that render the awarding of the Cash Reward as part of this Promotion impossible. Revolut will not be liable for any loss, whether directly or indirectly suffered, as a result of an event outside of its control.
6. By participating in this Promotion, you confirm that you understand that any benefit you receive as part of this Promotion may be subject to local income tax in the country of your residence and/or in the local territory where you are tax resident. It is your responsibility to pay any tax which may arise from receiving any benefit. Revolut will bear no liability for any tax obligations which may arise from receiving any benefit as part of this Promotion.
7. Revolut will process your personal data in compliance with our Customer Privacy Notice that applies to your Personal account.
8. These Promotion Terms are published in English. If they are translated into another language, the translation is for reference only and the English language version of the Promotion Terms shall prevail. The English version of these Promotion Terms shall be used in any legal proceedings. If, however, by law the local language should be used, the local language shall prevail.

This Promotion is organised and offered to you by the Revolut group entity that provides you with your Personal account. If you have a complaint about this Promotion, you can raise it directly with them.
