- EURR provides customers with an on-chain option for moving between fiat, crypto, external wallets, and supported blockchain networks
- Issued by Bridge Building, a Stripe company, EURR is our first stablecoin designed to hold a stable value of €1.00
- Stablecoins tied to other currencies are already in development, with wider availability for EURR expected to follow later this year — customers can sign up via this form to be notified when it launches
Revolut started with the goal of making money move faster across currencies and beyond borders.
More than 75 million customers now use our app across more than 40 markets worldwide, accessing a broad range of financial services, including payments, foreign exchange, and crypto.
As digital assets come into the financial mainstream, stablecoins signal a new era in global payments. Integrating them within our platform is the natural next step in building a borderless money network.
Why stablecoins matter for Revolut customers
Stablecoins now have the potential to support broader use cases beyond trading, with clearer regulations emerging in key markets.
The next phase will be connecting stablecoins with real customers and their financial needs. To make that a reality, we’ll now offer eligible customers in Denmark, Poland, and Portugal EURR: a euro-denominated stablecoin issued by Bridge, fully integrated into Revolut, and launching on Ethereum as part of the phased rollout.
This should make stablecoins more accessible and give our customers more options beyond dollar-backed stablecoins, if they want to move value on-chain.
With more markets set to follow, Revolut customers can sign-up via this form to be notified when EURR is available to them.
Bringing euros on-chain
While most stablecoins are pegged to dollars, millions of our customers earn, save, and spend in euros.
With EURR, which is designed to hold a stable value of €1.00, customers won’t need to take on dollar exposure just to use blockchain-based money. They’ll have a local currency stablecoin from day one.
Currency exchange and international transfers are still at the forefront for fiat-to-fiat money movement. Now, EURR gives customers a way to use euro-denominated value on-chain. It’s engineered to facilitate movements between fiat and blockchain networks.
The next step in stablecoins
EURR is just the first stage, with stablecoins tied to other currencies already in development through separate regulatory pathways. These will offer our global customers an equivalent bridge from their local currencies, too.
With more functionality and features to follow, EURR isn’t a single listing or a side project. It’s part of a broader evolution of our crypto offering, designed to give customers more choice in how they engage with digital assets.
EURR is a euro-pegged e-money token (EMT) issued by Bridge Building S.A., a MICA CASP and EMI regulated by the CSSF, and offered by Revolut Digital Assets Europe Ltd, a MiCA CASP regulated by CySEC (Licence No. CASP001/25).
