Discounted Paid Plan Subscription Promotion

Terms and Conditions

Welcome to the Discounted Paid Subscription Plan Promotion (the “Promotion”), offered by Revolut Payments New Zealand Pty Ltd (NZBN 9429048733212) (“Revolut”, “we”, “our” or “us”).

The terms and conditions of the Promotion are set out below (the “Promotion Terms”). These Promotion Terms apply in addition to the other terms and conditions that apply to you as a customer of Revolut, including the Personal Terms, Fees and Charges Section and the Paid Plan Terms.

Promotion Period

For Eligible Customers (defined below) the promotion commences at the time the Promotion Offer is received and ends at 11:59pm UTC on the date set out in the Promotion Offer (the “Promotion Period”).

What is the Promotion?

Revolut is offering existing Paid Plan users (Ultra, Metal, Premium, or Plus) (“Paid Subscription Plan”) a discount on their current Paid Subscription Plan fee (the “Promotion Offer”). The discount only applies to the Paid Subscription Plan fee itself. The discount amount and period will be made clear in the Revolut app. Once you’ve accepted the Promotion Offer, we’ll apply the discount to your existing Paid Subscription Plan.

After the Promotion Offer ends, you will remain on the Paid Subscription Plan. Following the expiry of the Promotion Offer you agree to pay the normal monthly Paid Subscription Plan fees as set out in the Fees and Charges Section.

Please refer to the section below "What happens if I cancel my paid subscription after the Promotion Offer?" for details of any applicable cancellation costs that may apply.

Who is eligible for the Offer?

To participate in the Promotion, you must be an Eligible Customer of Revolut.

An “Eligible Customer” is defined as a customer that has, during the Promotion Period:

  • an active Revolut account (not suspended or restricted);
  • is an existing Paid Plan user and has opted to downgrade;
  • personally received communications from Revolut inviting you to participate in the Promotion; and
  • opted into the Promotion as shown to you within the Revolut app.

For the avoidance of doubt, if you cannot see this Promotion Offer in the app, you are not eligible.

How do I claim my Promotion Offer?

Eligible Customers will be able to see the Promotion Offer in the Revolut app.

What happens if I cancel my Paid Subscription Plan after the Promotion Offer?

If you cancel or downgrade your Revolut Paid Subscription Plan after claiming the Promotion Offer, the Cancellation Costs Table and Notice Periods set out in the Paid Plan Terms will apply.

Please refer to the Fees and Charges Section for more information on the limits, fees and charges associated with the Revolut Paid Subscription Plan.

Any amounts that have already been paid will not be refunded. For example, if you remain on the Revolut Metal plan following the Promotion Offer and cancel after the 6th month, you will not be refunded any amounts already paid for the plan and any cards ordered.

What else should I know?

Revolut reserves the right to change, modify and/or supplement these Promotion Terms from time to time if necessary to protect our legitimate interests. If we exercise this right in a way that is detrimental to you in your capacity as an Eligible Customer, we will provide you with: a) reasonable notice where possible; and b) if applicable, the opportunity to close or downgrade your Revolut account at no cost. Please contact Customer Support if you believe you qualify for a particular benefit in relation to the Promotion that has not been awarded to you as a result of this early suspension or termination.

If we have reasonable grounds to believe that you have engaged in any fraud or material abuse of this Promotion (such as for example attempting to obtain an unfair advantage through deception) we may in our sole discretion take any actions we see fit in the circumstances.

In the event of any inconsistency between the Promotion Offer and these Promotion Terms, these Promotion Terms will prevail.

Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms can be dealt with by the Courts of New Zealand.
