Trading Pro 1 Year Free Access Promotion Terms

What is the Promotion about?

Revolut Securities Europe UAB (“Revolut”, “we”, “us” or “our”) is offering customers residing in the European Economic Area (the “EEA”) the opportunity to receive 1 year’s worth of Revolut Trading Pro services with no subscription fee (the “Promotion”).

These terms set out the rules that apply to the Promotion (the “Promotion Terms”). When participating in this Promotion, you must comply with these Promotion Terms, as well as:

If a word or phrase is not defined in these Promotion Terms, it will have the meaning given to it in the Trading Pro Terms or Revolut Trading Terms.

The Promotion will run from 15:00 UTC on 18 November 2024 until 23:59 UTC on 29 November 2024 (the "Promotion Period"). We may wish to extend the Promotion Period by amending these Promotion Terms.

To take part in this Promotion, you must meet the Eligibility Criteria and complete the Required Steps set out in these Promotion Terms during the Promotion Period.


Who is eligible for this Promotion?

To be considered an “Eligible Participant” for this Promotion you must meet the following “Eligibility Criteria”:

  • you have a residential address in the EEA;
  • you have not opened an investment account with us or have an investment account but have not yet submitted any orders or entered into any transactions prior to the start of the Promotion Period (having an investment account with us does not eliminate you from the Promotion);
  • you are not currently subscribing or have ever subscribed to our Trading Pro services prior to the start of the Promotion Period;
  • you are not currently a Revolut Ultra plan user (if you are a Revolut Ultra user and have opened an investment account with us, you can enable and use Trading Pro free of charge during the Ultra plan subscription period); and
  • either receive marketing directly from us via email/push notification about this Promotion or see the Promotion marketed in the Revolut app (either in-app banner or in-app inbox message) (the “Promotional Material”) so you can follow the below steps to benefit from the Promotion. You will only receive marketing from us if you have already provided your personal data to us and are happy for Revolut to send marketing to you.

You will also need to complete the “Required Steps” before the end of the Promotion Period:

  • click on the unique Promotion link in the email/push notification, in-app banner and/or in-app inbox message and follow the steps to open an investment account with us (if you don’t already have one) and to enable Trading Pro (opening of investment account with us is mandatory to use Trading Pro services and participate in the Promotion);
  • deposit a minimum amount of EUR/USD 3,000 into your investment account.

You must use the Promotion unique link provided as part of this Promotion to sign up for Trading Pro services. If you sign up using the normal investment account opening process in our app, you will not be able to take part in this Promotion.

If you use the Trading Pro services without following the requirements set out in these Promotion Terms (for instance, subscribing to our Trading Pro services without clicking on the unique Promotion link), you will not be eligible for this Promotion.


How do I start my 1 Year Free Access?

If you meet the Eligibility Criteria and complete the Required Steps indicated in the section “Who is eligible for this Promotion?“ of these Promotion Terms, we will waive our Trading Pro subscription fee during the 1 year “Free Access Period”. Your Free Access Period will start after you have completed the Required Steps indicated above.

For the avoidance of doubt, the Trading Pro subscription includes a 30-day free trial, which begins immediately upon activating Trading Pro services. After this trial, an additional 11 months of free access to Trading Pro services will be added as part of the Promotion, making the total Free Access Period 1 year (subject to minor variations due to calendar month lengths).

After your Free Access Period ends, you will remain subscribed to our Trading Pro services, unless you tell us otherwise, and standard subscription fee of EUR 15 per month (or equivalent in another currency depending on your location) will automatically apply. You can find further details on Trading Pro subscription in the Trading Pro Terms (please see the “Information about your subscription” section for more information).

We will not inform you about the ending of your Free Access Period.

If you do not wish to receive Trading Pro services during, or after the end of, your Free Access Period, you will be able to cancel your Trading Pro subscription via the Revolut app before the last day of your Free Access Period.

You understand that other fees in relation to Trading Pro services that are not charged or controlled by us may apply.


What other legal information should I know?

  1. The Promotion is organized and offered by Revolut Securities Europe UAB, a company whose registered address is at Konstitucijos ave. 21B, 08130, Vilnius, the Republic of Lithuania. Revolut Securities Europe UAB is authorized and regulated by the Bank of Lithuania. For more information, please review Revolut Securities Europe UAB Revolut Trading Terms and Trading Pro Terms.
  2. If we deem, in our reasonable opinion, that the Promotion is being abused or may negatively affect Revolut’s goodwill or reputation, we might change, suspend or end the Promotion immediately. We may do this on an individual or promotion-wide basis.
  3. If we need to change, suspend, extend or end the Promotion during the Promotion Period, we will announce this in the same way the Promotion was announced.
  4. Any changes to the Promotion Terms will not affect your rights, if you have already participated in the Promotion. If we change these Promotion Terms, we will publish the updated version of these Promotion Terms on our website.
  5. You may close your investment account and/or terminate the Trading Pro subscription at any time during the Free Access Period by following the rules indicated in the Trading Pro Terms, however, you will not be able to re-enter the Promotion. Additionally, if your investment account becomes restricted or suspended, you will lose the entitlement to the benefits under this Promotion.
  6. Your participation in the Promotion will only be valid if it is confirmed by us. If, in accordance with our terms and conditions, we have reasonable grounds to refuse to onboard you to our investment services or accept your deposit, you won’t be eligible for this Promotion even if you meet other Eligibility Criteria and have completed Required Steps.
  7. Each Eligible Participant can participate in the Promotion one time only and only during the Promotion Period. Therefore, once you have received the Free Access Period, it cannot be extended or renewed.
  8. You cannot ask us to invite you to the Promotion if you weren’t chosen or ask us to extend it if you miss it.
  9. We reserve the right to remove you from the Promotion, if you breach the Trading Pro Terms, Revolut Trading Terms, Revolut Personal Account Terms, or if we become aware you were not compliant with these Promotion Terms.
  10. If we have reasonable grounds to believe that you have engaged in any fraud or material abuse of the Promotion (such as for example attempting to obtain an unfair advantage through deception) we may in our sole discretion take any actions we see fit in the circumstances.
  11. Events beyond the control of Revolut Securities Europe UAB may occur that render this Promotion impossible. Revolut Securities Europe UAB will not be liable for any loss, whether directly or indirectly suffered, as a result of an event outside of its control which means we are unable to continue running the Promotion as planned.
  12. Revolut Securities Europe UAB will send marketing to its existing customers in compliance with applicable data privacy and direct electronic marketing laws. If you do not want to receive marketing from Revolut Securities Europe UAB you may manage your marketing preferences in the Revolut app. Revolut Securities Europe UAB and other Revolut group entities process your personal data in compliance with our Customer Privacy Notice.
  13. Promotion Terms are published in English and any translation is a courtesy and an unofficial translation only - participants of the Promotion cannot derive any rights from the translated version. The English language version of these terms shall apply and prevail and be conclusive and binding. The English version shall be used in any legal proceedings.
  14. For the customers of Revolut Securities Europe UAB, to the extent permitted by law, these Promotion Terms shall be exclusively governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Lithuania. Despite this, you can still rely on the mandatory consumer protection rules of the EEA country where you live. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Promotion Terms shall exclusively be submitted to and dealt with by the competent court in the Republic of Lithuania (or in the courts of any EEA Member State where you reside).
