Discounted Fees Offer for Paid Plans

What is this Promotion about?

As part of the Discounted Fees Offer for Paid Plans (the "Promotion”) we are inviting selected customers of Revolut Bank UAB and its branch offices listed below (together, “Revolut”) to open one of our Paid plans package accounts (“Paid Plan”) at a discounted fee (the “Discounted Fee”) for a limited period of time (the “Discounted Fee Period”). Selected customers will be able to access this Promotion via the Plan dashboard in their Revolut app. Customers may be selected based on certain criteria, like transaction categories, being 18+ years of age, having an active retail account for a set period, and being on a qualifying paid plan.


These terms along with the invitation email or in-app communication by push, inbox, title or product articles (the “Promotion Communication”) inviting you to participate in this Promotion (together the “Promotion Terms”) set out the rules that apply to this Promotion. You must comply with these Promotion Terms, the Personal terms that apply to your Revolut personal account, and the Paid Plan Terms at all times when participating in this Promotion.


You will have 3 days after receiving the Promotion Communication to participate in this Promotion (the “Promotion Period”). The Promotion exact end date will be clearly set out in the Promotion Communication.


You acknowledge and understand that essential details governing each individual Discounted Fee will be provided in the Promotion Communication, and the current terms provide a general framework within which each Discounted Fee runs.


You also acknowledge and understand that in order to receive such Promotion Communications, marketing communications must be enabled in your Revolut app.


Who is eligible for the Discounted Fee?

The Promotion will be available to selected Revolut customers who:

  • are residents / fiscal residents in the country of the Revolut entity that provides you with your personal account;
  • have been successfully onboarded as a Revolut customer (this means you must have passed our Know Your Customer checks and have no restrictions on your account) or migrated, when applicable, to the Revolut entity that provides you with your personal account;
  • have received a Promotion Communication inviting you to participate in this Promotion; and
  • join a Paid Plan with a monthly or annual subscription during the Promotion Period.


Customers who join the Paid Plan by completing the steps above during the Promotion Period are eligible to pay the Discounted Fee for the Discounted Fee Period.


What is the Discounted Fee?

The Discounted Fee in this Promotion is a fee that is lower than the usual fee payable by customers for the chosen Paid Plan. During the Discounted Fee Period we will charge you the following Discounted Fee:

  • For Plus package account clients upgrading to Premium package account and for Premium package account clients upgrading to Metal package account - the discount is the difference between the subscription fee of the client current plan and the subscription fee of the plan he will upgrade to (eg. if you are a Plus package account client and you upgrade to Premium package account you will have Premium package account paying the subscription fee of Plus package account).
  • For all non-Ultra package account clients upgrading to Ultra package account - the discount is 20€ in Ultra subscription fee.


You can see your Discounted Fee at any time in the Plan dashboard section of the app.


How long is the Discounted Fee Period?

  • For upgrades to Premium and Metal package accounts - 2 months since the upgrade.
  • For upgrades to Ultra - 3 months since the upgrade.


How does my Discounted Fee Period work?

You can start your Discounted Fee Period by following the instructions in the Promotion Communication.


You will pay the monthly Discounted Fee for each month of the Discounted Fee Period.


After your Discounted Fee Period ends, you will remain on the chosen Paid Plan, on the non-discounted fee, unless you cancel your Paid Plan subscription. This means that when the Discounted Fee Period ends, you must pay the standard Paid Plan monthly fee in further months unless you cancel your Paid Plan subscription. This also means that normal cancellation and billing rules will apply (see the Paid Plan Terms, Fee pages). Both during the Discounted Fee Period and after the Discounted Fee Period ends, we will take payment for your Paid Plan monthly or annually as defined in the Promotion Communication.


Fees for ending and downgrading your Paid Plan subscription

You can end your Paid Plan subscription at any time. You can also change to a lower Paid Plan at any time (we call this a downgrade). Depending on your country of residence, downgrading your Paid Plan subscription may be subject to some fees. See “Fees for downgrading your Paid Plan subscription” in the Paid Plan Terms for more information. In order to check the start date of your subscription and to check how you can downgrade, please go to the ‘Profile’ section on your Revolut app and check your ‘Price Plan’. Once you downgrade, you'll become the lower Paid Plan user or a Standard user again (a personal account holder who does not pay a subscription for any of the Paid Plans).


What other legal information should I know?

  1. This initiative runs for an indefinite period of time, but Revolut has the right to terminate it at any time. Termination of this initiative will not affect your rights, if you have already participated in the Promotion.
  2. If you close your Revolut personal account or your account becomes suspended or restricted before we grant you your Discounted Fee, you will lose your entitlement to it.
  3. Revolut needs to process your personal data to perform our obligations under these Promotion Terms. For more information about how we handle personal data, see our Customer Privacy Notice.
  4. These terms are published in local languages of the Revolut entity that provides your personal account and any translation is a courtesy and an unofficial translation only. Participants of the Promotion cannot derive any rights from the translated version. The local language version of these terms shall apply and prevail and be conclusive and binding. The local version shall be used in any legal proceedings. If, however, by law other local languages should be used, the latter shall prevail.


This Promotion is organised and offered to you by the Revolut group entity that provides you with your Personal account. If you have a complaint about this Promotion, you can raise it directly with them. Please see below for their registered addresses of each Revolut group entity and the relevant laws and courts that have jurisdiction to determine any dispute you may have in relation to this Promotion. You can still rely on the mandatory consumer protection rules of the country where you live.
