Introduction:
Congratulations on being one of the first patrons of the Revolut, India app. You get to have the unique experience of trying our products for the Indian market, before our full fledged market launch.
In this beta version we are looking to test and get feedback on how our products and services perform in real world use cases.
Why this Information is important:
This document sets out the Terms and Conditions for your enrolment in the Revolut Beta Testing Program for India (the “Beta Test”). It also sets out certain other important things that you will need to know in order to use our products and services under the Best Test.
These terms and conditions along with our Customer Privacy Notice and Product Terms and Conditions that apply to the products and services you use under the Beta Test, form a legal agreement (the “Agreement” or the “Terms”) amongst:
- You, the Beta Test user;
- Revolut Forex India Private Limited; and
- Revolut Payments India Private Limited

About us:
Revolut currently provides services to its customers in India through the following entities:
- Revolut Payments India Private Limited (“RPIPL”), which is a company incorporated in India and is licensed and authorised by the Reserve Bank of India to issue Prepaid Payments Instruments (PPIs). The Corporate Identification Number (CIN) of RPIPL is U74999MH2021FTC358965; and
- Revolut Forex India Private Limited (“RFIPL”), which is a company incorporated in India and licensed by the Reserve Bank of India as an Authorised Dealer Category-II, to deal in foreign exchange (including issuing Multi-Currency Forex Cards and facilitating foreign remittances). RFIPL’s Corporate Identification Number (CIN) is U05999MH1996PTC098004.
RPIPL and RFIPL are hereinafter collectively referred to as “Revolut” or “we”.
The specific entity providing services to you under the Beta Test, will depend on the exact product you’ll be using.
Purpose of the Beta Test:
Through the Beta Test we intend to release our initial set of products and services to a limited number of users, for testing in ‘real world’ use scenarios. Therefore, while using our products and services under the Beta Test, we want you to keep in mind that these products and services are still under development and as a result, some features/functions may not work and there may also be glitches, bugs or other such issues that you may encounter in their use. The objective of the Beta Test is to collect feedback and improve our products and services in order to ensure that we can come back with a better experience for our users.
Please note that at the time of commencement of the Beta Test, RPIPL’s primary product- the PPI wallet, may still be under development and therefore, it may be unavailable for use initially. During such time, the products of RFIPL will still be available for use and for the purposes of offering you such products, your KYC details will have to be shared by RPIPL with RFIPL, as per RBI’s regulations on KYC. By signing up for the Beta Test, you expressly agree to the sharing of your KYC details and other personal information between RPIPL and RFIPL.
Are you eligible for enrolment in the Beta Test:
In order to be eligible for the Beta Test, you must fulfil the following criteria:
- You must be at least 18 years of age or older;
- You must be a citizen of India;
- You must be resident in India;
- You must have an Indian Permanent Account Number (PAN) and Aadhaar number.
Further, for certain products of RFIPL, you may also own a valid Indian Passport.
Confidential Nature of the Beta Test:
While we would love for our users to be able to share their Revolut experience with the world, under the Beta Test program, our products and services are still being improved, developed and finalised and our teams are relentlessly working hard to ensure that we deliver a worthy final product for the Indian market. Therefore, for the time being you would be required to keep any results, experiences, product flows, screenshots, designs, product or app related documents, marketing material, videos, product bugs, or any other such aspect of the Beta Test confidential. To that end, you are also required to refrain from posting the above on any public forum or otherwise sharing these with the media, except with our prior approval. In certain circumstances, we may reach out to you, with requests to publish or promote our products or services online, in which case the above stated restrictions may not be applicable
Disclaimer:
While all reasonable care and precautions have been taken to ensure that you are provided with a seamless and trouble free experience in using Revolut’s products and services, given that our offerings under the Beta Test are still under testing and development, all such products and services are provided without any warranties regarding their functionality or that the products and/or services would be uninterrupted or error free.
Waiver of Liability:
By using our products and services under the Beta Test program, you agree and acknowledge that such products and services are still being tested and improved and therefore, we would not be liable in any manner whatsoever for any bugs, defects, errors or other deficiencies in our products/services which are offered as part of the Beta Test.

We’d love to hear your feedback and know more about your experience with Revolut’s products and services under the Beta Test program. Therefore, if you encounter any bugs, glitches or other problems in your use of our products and/or services, or if you generally want to leave suggestions or provide your feedback, please feel free to reach out to us through our in-app chat support.

Duration of the Beta Test:
As explained above, the Beta Test is a product and service testing program for a limited period, as we may notify you from time to time. Further, in the event that we intend to extend or discontinue the Beta Test, we may do so by notifying you of the same.
Upon the completion of the Beta Test, Revolut may in its sole discretion decide to terminate your Revolut account by notifying you of the same in advance. In the event of any such termination, you may be requested to withdraw or spend all remaining balance in your Revolut wallet or prepaid card(s).
Amendments to these terms:
We reserve the right to update and amend these Terms (including our Privacy Policy and/or Product Terms) from time to time. Whenever any such update/amendment is carried out, we may notify you by email, through our app, or by posting on our website. In the event that any amendments or changes to these Terms are not acceptable to you, you are requested to discontinue your use of our products or services immediately. Your continued use of our products and/or services after they’ve been amended or updated would be construed to mean your acceptance of such updated/amended Terms.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction:
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of India and any dispute arising out of or otherwise in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Mumbai, India.
