Yes, you need an active Revolut Business Merchant account to use our card machines. That way you can integrate with our POS and manage transactions with ease. Sign up today.
You need to have an active Revolut Business Merchant account to order the Revolut Terminal or Revolut Reader. To apply, you must have a registered business in an eligible country. See our Help Centre article for more information.

To add users to your Revolut Reader, follow these steps:
1. Log in to your Revolut Business account and go to the Team tab
2. Click Invite and enter one or multiple email addresses
3. Set up profiles and configure permissions to grant access to the Merchant tab and enable them to create payment requests
Create profiles in your Revolut Business account so you can grant team members log-in access to the Terminal.
To invite team members:
1. Go to Team
2. Click Invite and enter one or multiple email addresses
3. Choose a role that’s has Merchant and Point of Sale permissions assigned to manage transactions and payments, or create a new one

How do I create or edit a role to have Merchant and Point of Sale permissions?
1. Go to Team and select your team member's profile
2. Choose Role
3. Click Sales and turn on Manage sales
4. Select POS and turn on access to Manage Point of Sale app
5. Click Update to saveRevolut Reader accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express®, Apple Pay, and Google Pay, and contactless payments.
