Note: Private indices track closed-ended, illiquid assets and should not be compared directly to liquid public benchmarks or the open-ended ELTIFs offered on Revolut. They are shown solely to illustrate historical asset-class trade-offs and are not direct product substitutes. Private Market funds offered by Revolut may invest in a single asset class or across private equity, private credit, and private infrastructure. Specific allocations for each fund are available in the app.

FAQs

  • Private markets refer to the types of investments that aren't accessible via the public markets. For example, private equity, private credit, infrastructure, real estate, and venture capital.

Although access to private markets has historically been limited to institutional and professional investors — due to high minimum investment requirements, complexity, and the long-term, illiquid nature of these investments — the regulatory framework has expanded access to retail investors.

  • Private markets can offer diversification to a portfolio, but they are not suitable for everyone. They are generally suitable for investors who meet certain criteria.

These criteria include having a long-term investment horizon (years, not weeks), accepting limited liquidity and restricted early redemptions, and understanding the risks of partial or total loss of capital.

These investments usually represent only part of a diversified portfolio. A suitability assessment is required to determine whether they are appropriate for your financial situation and objectives. If you are unsure, consider seeking independent financial advice before investing.

  • Our in-house fund selection team reviews a broad range of private markets funds — drawing insights from a database covering more than 15,000 funds — and curates the selection offered to customers.

We assess funds across key areas including the manager's track record and performance consistency, the investment strategy, the strength and diversification of the portfolio, and the fund's structure and governance, alongside the risks of underlying assets.

Fund selection is subject to due diligence and ongoing monitoring
