This version of our terms will apply from 16 December 2026
1. Why this information is important
These terms and conditions (the Expenses Terms) apply whenever you use the expense management feature within the Revolut Business app (Revolut Expenses). Revolut Expenses is only available to Revolut Business customers who have already been onboarded to use the services available under the Revolut Business Terms.
These Expenses Terms form a legal agreement between:
- Revolut Ltd (we, us or Revolut); and
- “You”, the Revolut Business Account Owner or Authorised User.
Please review these Expenses Terms, including the limitation of liability set out in the "Our Liability and Responsibility to You" section.
2. What is Revolut Expenses?
Revolut Expenses is a feature that enables business customers to capture receipts and to categorise and reconcile business expenses within the Revolut Business app.
Certain features or functionalities of Revolut Expenses (including connecting your Revolut Business account with a third-party accounting platform) may rely on or integrate with third-party software, applications or services (Third Party Software).
Whilst Revolut Expenses is available to Revolut Business customers who have a Basic, Grow, Scale or Enterprise Revolut Business plan, the ability to configure certain features for expenses, and integration with certain accounting platforms, are only available on the Grow, Scale or Enterprise plans.
Revolut Expenses is not a regulated financial services product.
3. How do I pay for Revolut Expenses?
A monthly subscription fee of € 8 applies to each active team member, unless we agree on a different arrangement with you. We charge you the total subscription fee for all active team members. A team member becomes active after they’ve submitted their first expense.
Your Revolut Expenses subscription follows the same monthly billing cycle as your existing Revolut Business account plan. This means we will invoice and charge you for Revolut Expenses on the monthly billing date for your Revolut Business account plan. Revolut Expenses renews at the end of each billing cycle unless you disable it (either on an individual team member or business-wide basis) before the renewal date.
Fees are payable from your Revolut Business account. The Revolut entity that you hold your Revolut Business account with will provide you with the underlying payment services. Your rights and obligations for the payment service are set out in the Revolut Business Terms.
If a new team member becomes active part-way through your monthly billing cycle, we’ll charge you the subscription fee for that billing cycle in addition to the fee for the upcoming business cycle in your next bill.

Other than any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, our total aggregate liability to you arising in connection with the performance or contemplated performance of these Expenses Terms shall be limited to the greater of (i) €1,000 (one thousand euros), and (ii) the total fees paid by you to Revolut for Revolut Expenses during the three-month period immediately preceding the event that gave rise to your claim for damages.
8. Disclaimers
Your use of Third Party Software may be subject to the terms and conditions imposed by the respective third-party providers (Third Party Terms), and Revolut makes no representations or warranties regarding the quality, performance, or security of any Third Party Software. We will not be responsible for any unavailability of Revolut Expenses as a result of acts or omission of the Third Party Software providers.
You are solely responsible for verifying the accuracy and integrity of all information submitted to the Expenses feature by your users. You are also solely responsible for verifying the accuracy of the accounting categories and corresponding tax rates produced using Revolut Expenses. Revolut does not provide tax advice and we will not be responsible for any actions taken by you on the basis of the outputs produced by Revolut Expenses. You are solely responsible for recording your business expenses accurately and accounting for any tax due on those expenses.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to Revolut Expenses, or specific features within it, if you fail to comply with these Expenses Terms or any Third Party Terms applicable to your use of Third Party Software, or if your Revolut Business account is suspended or terminated in accordance with the Revolut Business Terms.
Revolut Expenses may incorporate generative artificial intelligence (AI) technologies to support functionality, including but not limited to data analysis, content creation, and decision-making processes. If there is any conflict between the provisions of these Expenses Terms and any other terms relating to your relationship with us, these Expenses Terms will prevail to the extent it relates to Revolut Expenses.
Schedule - Data Processing Addendum
Introduction
The parties acknowledge and agree that you are the controller and we are a processor in respect of any personal data we process pursuant to these Expenses Terms.
Each party will comply fully with applicable data protection laws when performing its obligations under these Expenses Terms. In particular, you will ensure that you have a valid lawful basis and have provided all necessary notices to enable us to process the personal data for the purposes set out in these Expenses Terms.
The Appendix to this Data Processing Addendum describes the subject matter, duration, nature and purpose of the processing, as well as the data subject categories and types of personal data we will process on your behalf in the course of providing Revolut Expenses.
General data processing conditions
To the extent we process any personal data on your behalf pursuant to these Expenses Terms, we shall:
- process such personal data only on documented instructions from you (as set out in these Expenses Terms), unless we are otherwise required to do so by applicable laws, in which case we shall, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable laws, inform you of that legal requirement before carrying out the processing;
- take all such steps necessary to ensure that any persons authorised to process the personal data have committed themselves to confidentiality or are under an appropriate statutory obligation of confidentiality;
- implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect against the unauthorised or unlawful processing of the personal data, and against the accidental loss or destruction of, or damage to, the personal data;
- insofar as technically possible, provide you with such assistance as you may reasonably require when responding to any requests from data subjects to exercise their rights under applicable data protection laws;
- provide reasonable assistance to you to enable you to comply with your obligations under applicable data protection laws including, in relation to the security of processing, personal data breach notifications, data protection impact assessments and prior consultations with data protection supervisory authorities;
- at your choice, either delete or return all the personal data to you upon termination of these Expenses Terms, unless we are required by applicable laws to retain any such personal data;
- notify you without undue delay after becoming aware of any personal data breach affecting the personal data; and
- make available to you all information necessary to demonstrate compliance with our data protection obligations under these Expenses Terms. To the extent such information is deemed insufficient by you (acting reasonably) to determine our compliance with these Expenses Terms, we will allow for audits, including inspections, conducted by you or an independent auditor mandated by you, provided that such audits shall be at your sole cost and expense and shall take place no more than once per calendar year.
Appointment of sub-processors
You give us your general authorisation to appoint third parties to process personal data on your behalf (each being a “Sub-Processor”) in connection with these Expenses Terms. We will notify you before appointing or changing any Sub-Processor, thereby giving you a reasonable opportunity to object to such appointment or change.
In respect of each Sub-Processor, we will:
- enter into a written agreement incorporating terms which are substantially similar to those set out in this Schedule; and
- remain fully liable for all acts or omissions of the Sub-Processor relating to the processing of personal data.
For the avoidance of doubt, third-party accounting platform providers you integrate your Revolut Business account with are not Sub-Processors of Revolut.
International data transfers
You acknowledge that we may transfer personal data to Sub-Processors located outside the United Kingdom and European Economic Area provided that any such transfer will be carried out in accordance with the requirements of applicable data protection laws.
