What is the essence of the Promotion?
Revolut offers the opportunity to participate in the Revolut x Sziget Festival 2025 cashback offer (the “Promotion”) to prospective new Personal customers who live in the following countries: England, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Greece, the Netherlands, Poland, Lithuania, Hungary, Germany, Romania, Scotland, Spain, Sweden, Slovakia and Wales (collectively, the "Eligible Countries").
The Promotion offers potential customers registering for a Revolut Personal account for the first time to receive a €20 free of taxes (depending on the landing page they sign-up on) credit to their newly opened Revolut Personal account (the "New Customer Offer").
To participate in the Promotion, you must meet the eligibility criteria and complete the steps set out in the Promotion Terms and Conditions (“Promotion Terms”) between October 24, 2024 (00:00 CET) and December 31, 2025 (23:59 CET). We call this the "Promotional Period".
These Promotion Terms set out the rules applicable to this Promotion. During the entire duration of your participation in the Promotion, you are obliged to comply with these Promotion Terms, as well as the Personal Terms applicable to your Revolut Personal account.
What do I need to do to participate in the Promotion?
In order to qualify as an "Eligible Participant" of the Promotion, you must:
- have a residential address in an Eligible Country;
- not currently or previously have a Personal account with any company in the Revolut group entity; and
- be at least 18 years of age
You must also complete the “Required Steps” before the end of the Promotion Period:
- You must click on the Promotion's unique link - this will be visible on Sziget Festival's website and social media platforms, as well as in content provided by Sziget Festival's partners and partner influencers;
- You must successfully open a Revolut Personal account (which also means passing our KYC checks) for the first time in your life with the Promotion's unique link; and
- You must complete your first real card transaction of at least €1.
You must register for a Revolut Personal account using the unique Promotion link provided as part of this Promotion. If you register using the normal account opening process, you will not be able to participate in this Promotion.
You can make your first card payment with a physical or virtual card linked to your Revolut Personal account. This must be a genuine purchase (for example, transactions to a payment service provider, another bank account or e-wallet are not considered genuine), made in EUR.
How do I get the New Customer Offer?
Eligible participants will receive the New Customer Offer. The Revolut company providing you with a Revolut Personal account will credit the main balance of your Revolut Personal account with the New Customer Offer within 10 working days of completing the Required Steps.
What other legal information do I need to know?
- We may modify, suspend and terminate the Promotion even before the end date of the Promotion Period if, the Promotion is being misused, or may have a negative impact on Revolut's corporate value or reputation, as well as in the event of unforeseen circumstances due to which we cannot we can offer the offer for new customers together with the Sziget Festival or its affiliated companies. Suspension and termination of the Promotion may be done individually or for the entire promotion.
- If we need to change, suspend or end the Promotion before the end of the Promotion Period, we will announce this in the same way the Promotion was announced and, where possible, we will give you notice through the app and/or email. Please contact Support if you believe you qualify for a particular benefit in relation to the Promotion that has not been awarded to you as a result of early suspension or termination. Any changes to the Promotion Terms will not affect your rights, if you have already participated in the Promotion.
- We reserve the right to reverse the New Customer Offer awarded to you if the payment that earned you the New Customer Offer is refunded to you, you earned the New Customer Offer fraudulently, if you breach the terms that apply to your Revolut Personal account in order to get the New Customer Offer, or if we become aware you were not compliant with these Promotion Terms. We will consider the reversal of the New Customer Offer to have been done with your consent and the payment to have been authorised by you.
- If you close your Revolut Personal account or your account becomes suspended or restricted before we were due to credit your account with the New Customer Offer or between the time of qualifying for the New Customer Offer and receiving it, you will lose your entitlement to the New Customer Offer.
- Employees, directors, agents, subcontractors and any other partners of any member of the Revolut group of companies are not entitled to participate in the Promotion.
- Please take into account that this New Customer Offer is subject to the Personal Income Tax as income from movable capital subject to withholding (according to applicable legislation and without prejudice to the provisions of the provincial tax systems). You, as the recipient of the New Customer Offer, must declare an income from movable capital in your savings tax base determined by the full amount of the New Customer Offer received, and may deduct the withheld amount from the personal income tax quote. The full amount of the New Customer Offer will be the amount communicated in these Promotion T&Cs plus the tax we are obliged to withhold. We will levy on that amount the 19 % withholding tax and the New Customer Offer amount will result of that calculation.
- These Promotion Terms are published in Spanish. If they are translated into another language, the translation is for reference only and the Spanish language version of the Promotion Terms shall prevail. The Spanish version of these Promotion Terms shall be used in any legal proceedings. If, however, by law the local language should be used, the local language shall prevail.
