How does the Prize Draw work and how do I claim the Prize?
The Prize Draw will have 3 stages until you are awarded the Prize:
- Starting Point: There will be a waiting screen until you are allowed to participate. A Revolut Ambassador will be there with you and have a controller to start the game.
- The game: The player will have to touch a card to reveal the prize. There will be an animation of the card flipping over and showing the prize if you are a winner.
- The prize: The card will display the prize you won and after that a Revolut Ambassador will close this screen and return to the starting point.
If you’re a winner, one of the Revolut Ambassadors will give you your Prize on-site or collect your contact details to provide further details on your Prize within 30 days of the Prize Draw.
Prizes are available in limited quantities. If one or more of the Prizes are exhausted, you will be informed before you can participate in the game. Prizes are awarded randomly based on a computer programme.
Decisions regarding the administration and operation of the promotion, including the selection of the winner, are final and binding.
Legal bits and pieces
Subject | Clause |
Promotion abuse or misuse | We may suspend, change or end the promotion –for a specific participant or for everyone– if there are reasonable and documented grounds to believe that the promotion is being abused or could harm Revolut’s goodwill or reputation. Any issues? Please speak to a Revolut Ambassador or contact Support in the Revolut app or you can email us at support@revolut.com. |
Changes or early end | If we need to suspend, change or end the promotion early, we will tell you this in the same way we invited you to the promotion where possible. Don’t worry – if you’ve already taken part in the promotion, changes to the terms and conditions won’t affect you unless reasonably unforeseeable circumstances outside of our control have made it impossible for us to run the promotion. |
Fraud or rule-breaking | If you materially breach these Promotion Terms, or participate in the promotion fraudulently, we may reverse any Prize. By proceeding, you authorise any such reversal in advance. |
Account closed or restricted | To receive any Prize, you must have an active Revolut Personal account (not closed, suspended or restricted) at the time you are due to receive the Prize. |
Taxes | You’re responsible for any local tax that applies to your Prize and Revolut doesn’t accept any liability for any tax liability arising from your participation in the promotion, except where Revolut is legally required by law to withhold or pay such taxes. |
Tax in Spain | If you are a resident of Spain, any Prize is subject to Personal Income Tax. We are legally required to withhold 19% tax from your Prize before giving it to you. For your tax return, you must declare the Prize's total value (the advertised Prize plus the 19% we withheld). You can then deduct the withheld amount from your tax liability. |
No Prize substitution | If you win the Prize, you’re only entitled to the Prize itself. You can’t request its cash equivalent or swap it for something else. |
Data & Privacy | We will process your personal data in line with the Customer Privacy Notice that applies to your Revolut Personal account. For customers residing in the United Kingdom, we’re legally required to publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. So we’ll share the surname and county of winners to anyone who contacts Support within 30 days after the prize draw. You can object to your surname and county area being published or made available by contacting Support. We’ll still need to share this information with the regulator, the Advertising Standards Authority, on request. |
