Eligibility and Required Steps
To be eligible for this promotion, you must:
- have a registered address in a Market;
- have an active, unrestricted and unsanctioned Revolut Personal account; and
- be at least 18 years old.
The Required Steps to enter the promotion are:
- Follow @revolut on Instagram;
- Like the entry post; and
- Tag a friend in the comments
New Revolut Personal customers can also enter the Prize Draw by signing-up to a Revolut Personal account before completing the Required Steps.
How does the Prize Draw work and how do I claim the Prize?
Within two calendar days after the end of the Promotion Period, we’ll randomly select the winner from all entrants who have completed the Required Steps. The chance of winning depends on the total number of eligible entries received.
If you’re the winner, we’ll let you know via direct message to your Instagram account. You’ll have 48 hours from the time we contact you to accept the Prize and provide us with any requested information (including your Revolut Personal account revtag). If you don’t respond to us within this time or you do not meet the eligibility criteria, you forfeit the Prize and an alternative winner will be randomly selected.
Once the winner communicates their acceptance, we will arrange for the Prize to be sent to you within 30 days of the Prize being accepted:
- Details of the VIP Full Festival Passes will be sent via email; and
- The cash prize will be credited to the main balance of your Revolut Personal account.
The VIP tickets to the 2026 Sziget Festival do not include any costs related to travel, accommodation or other expenses in attending the event. If you win, you’ll be responsible for such costs.
Legal bits and pieces
Legal bit | Pieces |
Promotion abuse or misuse | We may suspend, change or end the promotion – for a specific participant or for everyone – if it’s being abused or reasonably unforeseeable circumstances that are outside of our control arise and make it impossible to continue the promotion. Any issues? Contact Support in the Revolut app. |
Changes or early end | If the promotion changes or ends early, we will tell you the same way we invited you to the promotion. Don’t worry – if you’ve already taken part in the promotion, changes to the Promotion Terms won’t affect you unless the promotion is suspended or ends because of reasonably unforeseen circumstances outside of our control which make it impossible to run. |
Fraud or rule-breaking | If you breach the Personal Terms that apply to your Revolut Personal account, these Promotion Terms or participate in the promotion fraudulently, we may reverse any Prize. By proceeding, you authorise and consent to any such reversal in advance. |
Account closed or restricted | To receive any Prize, you must have an active Revolut Personal account (not closed, suspended or restricted) at the time you are due to receive the Prize. |
Taxes | You’re responsible for any local tax that applies to your Prize. Revolut doesn’t accept any liability for tax arising from your participation in the promotion. |
Tax in Spain | If you are a resident of Spain, any prize, such as the Prize, is subject to Personal Income Tax. The full amount of the Prize will be paid to you, and no withholding will be applied. You are solely responsible for declaring the value of your Prize and paying any applicable taxes (currently 19%) to the Spanish tax authorities. |
If you reside in the Netherlands | If you are a resident of the Netherlands, the following conditions also apply to you: We hereby confirm that this promotion is in accordance with the Dutch Code of Conduct for Promotional Games of Chance. If you have a complaint about this promotion, please contact Support via the Revolut app and let them know that you want to make a complaint. We will investigate your complaint and try to resolve matters as quickly as possible via email. If you are not satisfied with the way we have handled your complaint, you can still submit your complaint to the Dutch Gambling Authority. The Gambling Authority can be reached via the following email address: info@kansspelautoriteit.nl. In accordance with the Dutch tax rules for promotional games, Revolut is legally obliged to withhold tax on behalf of the winners on prizes exceeding 449 EUR. Please note that this only applies to the Prize Draw. The rate of gambling tax will be 37,80% as of 1 January 2026. The gross prize per winner will amount to a maximum of €1619 EUR. However, after deduction of the gambling tax, the value of the net prize will then amount to a maximum of €1000 EUR. More information can be found on the Tax Authorities’ website. |
If you reside in Hungary | If you are a resident of Hungary, the following conditions also apply to you: Tax in Hungary If you are resident in Hungary, this promotion is not subject to Act XXXIV of 1991 on the organisation of gambling, because participation requires no stake or other payment. Revolut Bank UAB Hungarian Branch Office is the payer (kifizető) for Hungarian tax purposes and settles all Hungarian personal income tax and social contribution tax arising in connection with the Prize. You receive the Prize net of Hungarian tax: the festival tickets are provided free of any Hungarian tax charge to you, and the cash amount stated in Annex I is credited to your account as a net amount, with Revolut paying the tax on the corresponding gross amount. The cash element forms part of your consolidated Hungarian tax base and will appear in the tax return draft prepared for you by the Hungarian tax authority (NAV). No further tax payment is required from you in respect of the Prize. This clause covers Hungarian tax only. Any tax arising outside Hungary remains your responsibility. Bank secrecy (Hungary) Your Revtag, your account details and the fact that you hold an account with us are bank secrets under Section 161 of Act CCXXXVII of 2013 on credit institutions. We will use this information solely to verify your eligibility and to credit the Prize, and we will not disclose it to third parties or publish it without your prior written release. Please do not send us account information through social media direct messages. Complaints (Hungary) If you are resident in Hungary, you may complain about this promotion via Support in the Revolut app, in writing to Revolut Bank UAB Magyarországi Fióktelepe (1052 Budapest, Szervita tér 8.) or by email to formalcomplaints@revolut.com. We will handle your complaint in accordance with our Hungarian complaints handling policy and Section 288 of Act CCXXXVII of 2013 on credit institutions. If you are not satisfied with our reply, you may turn to the Magyar Nemzeti Bank (consumer protection procedure) or, in a consumer dispute, to the Financial Arbitration Board (Pénzügyi Békéltető Testület, 1013 Budapest, Krisztina krt. 55.; postal address: 1525 Budapest, BKKP Pf. 172), or you may bring your claim before the competent Hungarian court. |
No prize substitution | If you win the Prize, you’re only entitled to the Prize itself. You can’t request its cash equivalent or swap it for something else. However, if the Prize becomes unavailable for reasons outside of our control, we will pay you a cash equivalent. |
Data & Privacy | We’ll process your personal data in line with the Customer Privacy Notice that applies to your Revolut Personal account. For customers residing in the United Kingdom, we’re legally required to publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. So we’ll share the surname and county of winners to anyone who contacts Support within 30 days after the Prize Draw. You can object to your surname and county area being published or made available by contacting Support. We’ll still need to share this information with the regulator, the Advertising Standards Authority, on request. |

Nothing in these Promotion Terms excludes or limits our liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, gross negligence, injury to life, body or health, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
