Check if you're eligible
You can apply for a Basic Account if you live in the EU and don't hold, or haven't applied for, an account with another bank in the Netherlands
Make sure you also meet the following criteria
• You haven't been convicted of fraud, forgery, unfair treatment in bankruptcy/debt restructure, or money laundering within the past 8 years • You haven't intentionally used an account to commit criminal offences, leading to its closure, within the past 2 years
