Revolut Business Prize Draw at Hospitality Tech Expo

What is this Promotion about?

As part of the Revolut Business Prize Draw at Hospitality Tech Expo Promotion (the “Promotion”), Revolut is offering prospective Business customers registered in the UK the opportunity to be entered into a prize draw for a chance to win one of the following:

  • 2 upper-level tickets to the Paris NBA game on 25 January 2025 to see all the action between the Indiana Pacers and San Antonio Spurs; or
  • 3 months of a prepaid subscription to a Revolut Business plan of your choice

each of the above consisting of the “Prize”.

These terms and conditions (the “Promotion Terms”) set out the rules that apply to this Promotion, and you must comply with these Promotion Terms and also the terms and conditions that apply to your new Revolut Business account at all times when participating in this Promotion.

To take part in this Promotion, you must meet the Eligibility Criteria and complete the Required Steps set out in these Promotion Terms between 15.10.2024 (09:00 UTC) and 16.10.2024 (15:00 UTC) . We call this the “Promotion Period”.

Who is eligible for this Promotion?

To be considered an “Eligible Participant” for this Promotion you must meet the following “Eligibility Criteria”:

  • have a business in the UK with a registered address in the UK;
  • not have or have previously held a Revolut Business account with any Revolut group entity; and
  • be at least 18 years of age.

You must also complete the following “Required Steps” before the end of the Promotion Period:

  • Visit the Revolut Business booth D10 at ExCeL London (at Royal Victoria Dock, 1 Western Gateway, London E16 1XL, United Kingdom) during the Promotion Period to sign up for the draw by speaking to someone from the Revolut team on site; and
  • Successfully sign up for a Revolut Business account for the first time. The Revolut team on site would be able to guide you through our onboarding process.

    • You must fill in the online form provided to you by the Revolut team onsite to complete the Required Steps. If you sign up to Revolut Business using the normal account opening process in our app, you will not be able to take part in this Promotion.

How do I enter the prize draw?

Within 15 business days after the end of the Promotion Period, we will include the details shared during the registration process of all Eligible Participants (as per the Required Steps above) in the prize draw, and we will randomly select from the pool of Eligible Participants the winners. The number of winners varies for each Prize.

If you are the winner, we will notify you via email (to the email address registered to your Business account). You will have 15 business days from the time we initially reach out to you to accept the Prize. If you do not respond within this time, we will randomly select another Eligible Participant from the Prize Draw to be the winner of the Prize you’ve been awarded.

If we contact you to tell you have won but within 15 business days of contacting you we realise that you no longer meet the criteria to be considered an Eligible Participant, we will be unable to award you with the Prize, and we will randomly select another Eligible Participant from the Prize Draw to be the winner of the respective Prize.

Each Eligible Participant who is selected as a winner will have the same amount of time to accept the Prize.

Our decisions on how to run and manage the Promotion, including the selection of the winner, are final and binding.

What other legal information should I know?

  1. NBA Paris Games in these Promotion Terms refers to © 2024 NBA Media Ventures (the “NBA”).
  2. This Promotion gives you access to the Prize of 2 upper-level tickets for the NBA game (details shared above). If you are the winner, you’ll need to cover the cost of attending the event yourself as well as any other additional personal costs you may incur.
  3. We may change, suspend or end the Promotion earlier than the end date we’ve mentioned above if, in our reasonable opinion, the Promotion is being abused or may negatively affect Revolut’s goodwill or reputation. We may do this on an individual or promotion-wide basis.
  4. If we need to change, suspend or end the Promotion before the end of the Promotion Period, we will announce this in the same way the Promotion was announced and, where possible, we will try to give you notice through the app and/or email. Any changes to the Promotion Terms will not affect your rights, if you have already participated in the Promotion.
  5. Revolut will not be liable for any loss, whether directly or indirectly suffered, as a result of an event outside of its control which means we are unable to continue running the Promotion as planned. Please contact Support if you believe you qualify for a particular benefit in relation to the Promotion that has not been awarded to you as a result of early suspension or termination.
  6. Please ensure you are aware of the NBA Terms of Use of the NBA platform. Revolut will not be responsible for any issues, queries or claims that you may have in relation to NBA and their event.
  7. Employees, directors, agents, contractors and any affiliates of any Revolut group of entities and the same individuals associated with the NBA are not eligible for this Promotion.
  8. If you close your Revolut Business account or your account becomes suspended or restricted before we were due to give you the Prize or between the time of qualifying for the Prize and receiving it, you will lose your entitlement to it.
  9. Revolut needs to process your personal data to perform our obligations under these Promotion Terms. For more information about how we handle personal data, see our Business Privacy Notice. NBA may also collect personal data about you in connection with this Promotion. See NBA's privacy notice for more details about how they will handle your personal data. NBA will also send any marketing content to you in compliance with applicable data privacy and direct electronic marketing laws. If you do not want to receive marketing from the NBA you must manage your marketing preferences with NBA directly as this is outside of Revolut’s remit.
  10. These Promotion Terms are published in English. The English version of these Promotion Terms shall be used in any legal proceedings.
  11. This Promotion is organised and offered to you by Revolut Ltd, with a registered address of 7 Westferry Circus, London, E14 4HD . If you have a complaint about this Promotion, you can raise it directly with them.
  12. If you want to take legal action against us in the courts, only the courts of England and Wales can deal with any matter relating to these Terms.
