Local VS International transfers

Outbound domestic is any transfer that’s both:

  • Sent in the currency of the country your card was issued in, and
  • Sent to the country your card was issued in

Outbound international is any transfer that's either:

  • Sent in a currency other than the currency of the country your card was issued, or
  • Sent to a country other than the country your card was issued in

Inbound domestic is any transfer that’s both:*

  • Received in the currency of the country your card was issued in, and
  • Received from the country your card was issued in

Inbound international is any transfer that's either:*

  • Received in a currency other than the currency in the country your card was issued, or
  • Received from a country other than the country your card was issued in

*Exceptions: Inbound transfers in EUR / GBP / USD / CHF are always free. Other currencies are charged $3 per transfer above international allowance, and $0.2 per transfer above domestic allowance.
