Accessing the Retail Web App

Revolut offers 2-step verification, known also as 2-factor (2FA) or multifactor authentication, as an added security layer in addition to your phone number and Revolut passcode when signing in to your web app account.

With 2-step verification, you'll need to either confirm that it is you trying to access the web app from your Revolut mobile app via a push, or provide a unique verification code (called the one-time password) sent to your email or phone in addition to the phone number and Revolut passcode above.

Because email and SMS authentication are less secure methods than a mobile push, you will only be provided limited access to your Revolut account if you log into the web app via email or SMS. We want to make sure that fraudsters cannot pretend to be you, to withdraw funds from your account.

If you log into the web app with a mobile push, you will be granted full access to your Revolut account.
