Why is my account locked?
We know that it can be frustrating to be denied access to your funds. Rest assured that we are doing everything in our power to finish the required checks and reinstate your account as soon as possible. Unfortunately, there is no specific time frame that we can provide, the length of an investigation varies on a case to case basis. Please see also this blog article.
Your account may also be locked if you've exceeded the regulatory limit of transactions made in the past 365 days.
Due to the Payment Services Act on Transaction Limit, Revolut Singapore users can transact up to a limit of S$30,000 or foreign currency equivalent on a rolling 365 days basis. Your account will remain available for withdrawal of existing funds into your external bank accounts. However, please make sure that they are transfers to your personal account and not to business accounts or to a third party account.
Once the transaction limit is below S$30,000, your account will be unlocked.
