How can we help?

Why was I charged a fee for my transfer?

In terms of international cross-currency transfers, the free limits on our plans are:

  • Standard customers don’t have a fee-free international transfer allowance
  • Premium customers have 1 fee-free international transfer per month
  • Metal customers get unlimited international transfers per month

Outside of these allowances, Standard and Premium customers will be charged:

  • Non-SWIFT international transfers: a variable fee of 0.3% (with a minimum fee of S$0.30 and maximum fee of S$9)
  • SWIFT international transfers: S$5 if the transfer is in USD, EUR, GBP, CHF and S$9 otherwise

If the beneficiary bank is located outside of Singapore or if the transfer is not in SGD, then your transfer will be sent via SWIFT and you may incur international wire transfer fees. This fee does not apply to Metal customers, who get unlimited free cross-border transfers.

Upgrade to Revolut Metal today and you can transfer unlimited funds globally with no foreign exchange or international transfer fees.

How is my fee calculated?

The beneficiary bank may charge a fee to receive your transfer. When your money is in transit, it may be processed by an intermediary bank which may also apply a handling fee. This could mean the amount received is less than the amount you sent.
