Why do some funds appear as unavailable/reserved on my merchant accounts?

Sometimes funds appear unavailable due to technical issues or because the Revolut team needs to review particular payments manually.

Some funds may also be reserved due to Revolut’s rolling reserve policy, which serves as a risk prevention measure to ensure that your business can always react to disputes and chargebacks, and provide good customer service.

You will always be able to see the exact date when these funds will be released. You will also receive an email when Revolut decides to reserve funds on your account.
