Explaining our new grant for women in engineering — and how you can apply

People · October 14, 2024Team Revolut

At Revolut, we’re committed to fostering diversity and inclusion in the tech industry.

Historically, our data shows that far fewer women apply to our engineering roles at Revolut.

The Rev-women in Engineering Grant, part of our Rev-celerator Internship Programme, aims to change that. Our grant is spearheading a change to this gender imbalance, incentivising more women to apply by offering financial support to top students at universities in Spain, Poland, Portugal, and the UK.

Eligibility

  • The grant is open to applications from all individuals who identify as women, studying STEM degrees (Science, Engineering, Technology and Mathematics) in Spain, Poland, Portugal, and the UK
  • Applicants must be in their penultimate year of university
  • Applicants must be predicted to achieve equivalent to a 2.1 or above upon graduation
  • Applicants will join in a Software Engineering role through our Rev-celerator Internship Programme
  • Grants will be awarded to the top five performing women upon successful completion of the Internship Programme, internal nomination, and receiving a return graduate offer
