What is this Promotion about?
Revolut is offering prospective Personal customers residing in Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Romania, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden and United Kingdom (together, the “Eligible Markets”) the opportunity to participate in the Revolut x Sziget Festival 2026 Cash Award Offer (the “Promotion”).
This Promotion offers the chance to receive a one-time cash offer of €20 / £20 (or local currency equivalent - please see Annex I for currency equivalents) (the “Cash Award”).
To take part in this Promotion, you must be an Eligible Participant and complete the Required Steps set out in these Promotion Terms between 14 May 2026 (00:00 CET / UTC) and 31 December 2026 (23:59 CET / UTC). We call this the “Promotion Period”.
These terms and conditions (the “Promotion Terms”) set out the rules that apply to this Promotion. You must comply with these Promotion Terms and the Personal Terms that apply to your Revolut Personal account at all times when participating in this Promotion.
Who is eligible for this Promotion?
To be considered an “Eligible Participant” for this Promotion you must:
- have a residential address in an Eligible Market;
- not have or have previously held a Revolut Personal account with any Revolut group entity; and
- be at least 18 years old.
How do I earn the Cash Award?
You will also need to complete the “Required Steps” before the end of the Promotion Period:
- You must click on the Promotion's unique link, which will be visible on the Sziget Festival's website and social media platforms, as well as in social media content provided by Sziget Festival's partners and partner influencers;
- You must successfully open a Revolut Personal account, which also means passing our KYC checks, using the Promotion's unique link; and
- You must complete a genuine card transaction of at least €1 / £1 (or local currency equivalent - please see Annex II for currency equivalents). This can be made using a physical or virtual Revolut card linked to your Revolut Personal account. It must be a genuine purchase (for example, transactions to payment service providers, other bank accounts and e-wallets will not be considered genuine purchases).
You must use the Promotion unique link provided as part of this Promotion to sign up for a Revolut Personal account. If you sign up using the normal account opening process, you will not be able to take part in this Promotion.
How do I get my Cash Award?
The Revolut group entity that provides you with your Revolut Personal account will credit the Cash Award to your Revolut Personal account within 10 business days of you completing the Required Steps.
Legal bits and pieces
Legal bit | Pieces |
Promotion abuse or misuse | We may suspend, change, or end the Promotion – for a specific participant or for everyone – if it’s being abused, could harm Revolut’s goodwill or reputation, or reasonably unforeseeable circumstances that are outside of our control arise and make it impossible to continue the Promotion. We will not be liable for any loss if we do so. If you have not already started to take part in the Promotion, we may also freely withdraw this Promotion after 10 days have passed. Any issues? Contact Support in the Revolut app. |
Changes or early end | If the Promotion changes or ends early but has not been withdrawn, we will tell you this in the same way we invited you to the Promotion (e.g. email, push notification, in-app). Where possible, we will give notice through the Revolut app and/or email. Don’t worry – if you’ve already taken part in the Promotion, changes to the terms and conditions won’t affect you unless reasonably unforeseeable circumstances outside of our control have made it impossible for us to run it. |
Fraud or rule-breaking | If you breach the Revolut Personal Terms, these terms and conditions, or participate in the Promotion fraudulently, we may reverse any Cash Award credited to your account. By proceeding, you authorise in advance any such reversal. |
Account closed or restricted | To receive the Cash Award, you must have an active Personal account (not closed, suspended, or restricted) throughout the Promotion Period and at the time you are due to receive the Cash Award. |
Taxes | If you win a cash prize or receive any other benefit from this offer, it might be subject to income tax in your country of residence or where you are a tax resident. It is your responsibility to pay any tax that might apply. Revolut is not responsible for your tax obligations related to this Promotion. |
Tax in Spain | If you are a resident of Spain, any prize is subject to Personal Income Tax. We are legally required to withhold 19% tax from your prize before giving it to you. For your tax return, you must declare the prize's total value (the advertised prize plus the 19% we withheld). You can then deduct the withheld amount from your tax liability. |
No reward substitution | If you are awarded with the Cash Award, you’re only entitled to the Cash Award itself. You can’t request to swap it for something else. |
Data & Privacy | We will process your personal data in line with the Customer Privacy Notice that applies to your Revolut Personal account. Sziget may also collect personal data or send marketing to you in connection with this Promotion. See Sziget’s privacy notice for more details about how they will handle your personal data and contact them to manage your marketing preferences. |
