Promotion Terms - Crypto-Themed Cards and Wallpapers

What is the Promotion about?

As part of the Crypto-Themed Cards and Wallpapers promotion (the “Promotion”), Revolut Digital Assets Europe Ltd (“RDAEL”) is offering existing retail customers (“you” or “your”) residing in Spain, the Netherlands, Germany, Romania, Poland, Cyprus, Croatia, Greece, Iceland, Lithuania, Sweden, Estonia, Bulgaria, Finland and France (the “Eligible Markets”) the opportunity to access exclusive crypto-inspired designs of virtual cards (each a “Virtual Card”) that are linked to your active cryptoasset account with RDAEL (“Revolut Crypto Account”), as defined below, and matching in-app crypto-themed wallpapers (together, the “Awards”) by completing the actions set out in these terms (the “Offer”).


You may receive the invitation to the Promotion and the specific information relevant to this Offer via the following means:

  • a tile in the home screen of the Revolut app;
  • a tile on the Crypto tab of the Revolut app;
  • an inbox message in the Revolut app;
  • a push notification; or
  • an email,


each is considered a “Promotion Invitation”. All you will need to do is to complete the steps set out in these terms and conditions (the “Promotion Terms”) and in the Promotion Invitation within four years from the date of your acceptance of these Promotion Terms (the “Promotion Period”) to claim the Awards.


These Promotion Terms set out the rules that apply to the Promotion.


The Virtual Card is issued by Revolut Bank UAB or its relevant branch office. You must comply with the Promotion Terms, the Personal Terms of the entity providing you with your Revolut Personal Account, and the Revolut Crypto Terms at all times when participating in the Promotion.


Who is eligible for the Promotion?

You must satisfy the following eligibility criteria (the “Eligibility Criteria”) in order to participate in the Promotion:

  • be resident in an Eligible Market;
  • be onboarded with RDAEL and hold a Revolut Crypto Account, which requires you to maintain an active personal account with Revolut Bank UAB or its respective branch office (the “Revolut Personal Account”) with no restrictions on either your Revolut Crypto Account or your Revolut Personal Account; and
  • receive a Promotion Invitation inviting you to participate in this Promotion.

How do I get my Awards?

You will need to complete the following actions (the “Required Steps”) in the Revolut app before the end of the Promotion Period in order to claim the Awards:

  1. complete the “Crypto Basic” course in the ‘Learn’ section of the Revolut app within one year of your acceptance of these Promotion Terms – completion requires passing a quiz;
  2. complete the “Crypto Staking” course in the ‘Learn’ section of the Revolut app within one year of your completion of the immediately preceding Required Step – completion requires passing a quiz;
  3. execute a purchase of any cryptoassets listed on the Revolut app, except for stablecoins, with a minimum aggregate amount of EUR 20 (or local currency equivalent) in a single transaction or across multiple transactions, within one year of your completion of the immediately preceding Required Step; and
  4. execute a crypto staking transaction on the Revolut app with a minimum aggregate amount of EUR 10 (or local currency equivalent) within one year of your completion of the immediately preceding Required Step.


Once you have satisfied the Eligibility Criteria and completed all Required Steps, the Award will be made available to you.


What other legal information should I know?

  1. RDAEL may change, suspend, extend or end the Promotion earlier than the end date of the Promotion Period if there are reasonable grounds to believe that it is being abused or may negatively affect RDAEL’s goodwill or reputation. We may do this on an individual or Promotion-wide basis.
  2. If we need to change, suspend or end the Promotion before the end of the Promotion Period, we will announce this in the same way the Promotion was announced and will give you notice in the same way we announced this Promotion. Any changes to the Promotion Terms will not affect your rights, if you have already participated in the Promotion.
  3. RDAEL will not be liable for any loss, whether directly or indirectly suffered, as a result of a reasonably unforeseeable event outside of its control which means we are unable to continue running the Promotion as planned (the aforementioned shall not apply under Polish law and shall not be binding upon customers residing in Poland). We are also not liable for any loss in value of the cryptoassets purchased or staked during this Promotion due to market volatility. Please contact Support if you believe you qualify for a particular Award in relation to the Promotion that has not been awarded to you as a result of early suspension or termination.
  4. We reserve the right to reverse any Award during the Promotion Period if there are reasonable grounds to believe that you have not satisfied any of the Eligibility Criteria or you earned an Award fraudulently, if you breached the Promotion Terms, the Revolut Crypto Terms that apply to your Revolut Crypto Account or your Personal Terms in order to get an Award. We will consider the reversal of any Award to have been done with your consent and the payment, transfer or any other action taken to have been authorised by you (the aforementioned shall not apply under Polish law and shall not be binding upon customers residing in Poland). If you are residing in Poland, by participating in the Promotion, you authorise RDAEL to reverse an Award in the circumstances described above, including by making the payment or transfer that is necessary to effect such a reversal.
  5. To be eligible for the Awards, you must have an active Revolut Crypto Account and an active Revolut Personal Account (meaning that these accounts are not restricted, suspended, or closed) throughout the Promotion Period and at the time you claim the Awards. If you close your Revolut Crypto Account or your Revolut Personal Account or any of these accounts becomes suspended or restricted before the Award is processed, you will lose your entitlement to it.
  6. By participating in this Promotion, you confirm that you understand that any benefit you receive as part of this Promotion may be subject to local income tax in the country of your residence and/or in the local territory where you are tax resident. It is your responsibility to pay any tax which may arise from receiving any benefit. RDAEL will bear no liability for any tax obligations which may arise from receiving any benefit as part of this Promotion.
  7. RDAEL needs to process your personal data to perform our obligations under the Promotion Terms. For more information about how we handle personal data, see our Customer Privacy Notice.
  8. You can withdraw from these Promotion Terms free of charge and without having to indicate any reason within the first 14 days of confirming participation by letting us know through the Revolut app or by emailing us at support@revolut.com, provided that the Promotion is not yet fully executed or has not ended.
  9. The Promotion Terms are published in English, and any translation is a courtesy and unofficial translation only. Participants of the Promotion cannot derive any rights from the translated version. The English language version of the Promotion Terms shall apply and prevail and be conclusive and binding. The English version shall be used in any legal proceedings. If, however, by law the local language should be used (for example, Polish if you’re residing in Poland, Spanish if you’re residing in Spain, French if you’re residing in France, and Romanian if you’re residing in Romania), the local language version will prevail and will be the one used in any legal proceedings brought up in courts.


This Promotion is organised and offered to you by Revolut Digital Assets Europe Ltd, a crypto-asset service provider registered in Cyprus, with company registration number ΗΕ430310 having its registered office at Omonoias, 13, SOHO OFFICE (EMBASSY), 3052, Limassol, Cyprus that provides you with your Revolut Crypto Account. The laws of Cyprus apply to the Promotion Terms. If you want to take legal action against RDAEL in connection with the Promotion Terms, the courts of Cyprus can deal with any matter relating to any such action. You can still also rely on the mandatory consumer protection rules and law of the EEA country where you live.


You will benefit from any mandatory provisions of the law of the country in which you are resident. Nothing in these Promotion Terms affects your rights as a consumer to rely on such mandatory provisions of local law. This means that you can always bring legal action against us in the courts of your home jurisdiction.
