What happens if I need to issue a refund, however, there are not enough funds on my merchant account?

First, we will check your linked business account and if there is enough money for you to issue a refund, we will transfer the required amount from that linked account into your Merchant Account to cover the difference in funds that was needed to issue the refund.

If the funds on your linked business account are not enough to make up for that difference, you will have to go to the Accounts tab and either transfer money from other business accounts to that linked account or top up your linked business account via a bank transfer. Once you have enough funds on your linked account, you may go back and issue a refund for that transaction.
