How can we help?

Why was I charged a fee for my transfer?

In terms of international cross-currency transfers, you can send up to €1,000 each month for free. You will see a market-low 0.5% fee applied if exceeding this threshold.

Upgrade to Revolut Premium or Revolut Metal today and you can transfer unlimited funds globally with no foreign exchange fees.

If the beneficiary bank is located outside of the EU or if the transfer is not in Euros, then your transfer will be sent via SWIFT and you may incur international wire transfer fees.

Revolut applies a £0.50 fee for standard users (after exceeding monthly free allowance for Standard users) for transfers with currency the same as the beneficiary country, (for example sending USD to USA). This fee does not apply to Premium/Metal users who enjoy unlimited free cross-border transfers.

For transfers with currencies different to that of the beneficiary country (for example sending USD to Brazil), there will be a fee of £3 for USD SWIFT transfers and £5 for non-USD SWIFT transfers (for example sending GBP to Brazil). Premium and Metal users receive one free allowance every rolling month.

The beneficiary bank may charge a fee to receive your transfer. When your money is in transit, it may be processed by an intermediary bank which may also apply a handling fee. Therefore, the amount received can be less than the amount you sent.
