How can we help?

Is the Junior account affected by the Payment Services Act?

No. The Junior account is deemed a “Small Personal Payment Account” under the Payment Services Act. It is therefore exempted from the S$5,000 end-of-day account limit and the S$30,000 annual transaction limit. This means that the balance in your child’s Junior account would not count towards your own end-of-day balance limit of S$5,000. Furthermore, if you add money to your child’s Junior account, the transfer would not count towards your S$30,000 annual transaction limit.
