What are analyst recommendations?
Many investors use analyst recommendations to help evaluate a stock in conjunction with their own technical or fundamental analysis. Analysts often are researchers working for investment banks or brokerage firms who perform extensive fundamental and technical research to provide buy or sell recommendations for stocks. They may also provide a price target which is an estimate of what they think a share price might be in about 12 months’ time.
Please note that financial analyses and ratios should not be looked at in isolation when making investing decisions.
