In order to stop financial crime, we must first detect it; a task handled by our crime-fighting, fraud prevention specialists.
Our automated systems flag customers for a review as a part of the standard process, and we make every effort to make sure it's as easy as possible. In many cases the system asks us to request documents from customers who have done nothing wrong – this is just a routine check that we are legally obligated to perform. In some cases, we'll request information from you more than once. We aim to make this experience as hassle-free as possible, so we'll only request documents if we don't already have the information available.
