Why am I asked to create a new account if I change my country of residence to Spain?

Spanish regulations require you to undergo a localised KYC (know your customer) process to establish your identity. Unfortunately, this means you need to set up a new Revolut account in order to comply. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
