What is this promotion about?
- What: Sign up to a Revolut Personal account to earn a a Cash Reward of €20/£20 (or local currency equivalent - see Annex I) (the Welcome Bonus) and enter into a prize draw (the Prize Draw) for a chance to win one of five prize bundles (the Prize) consisting of:
- a pair of 5-day VIP Full Festival Passes to Sziget Festival 2026 (each ticket is worth €599);
- a cash sum of €1,000/£1000 (or local currency equivalent - see Annex II) credited to the winner’s Revolut Personal account; and
- a Revolut Stage Backstage Tour at the Sziget Festival, which will be extended to both the winner and one designated guest by the winner.
- Who: New Revolut Personal customers who reside in Austria, Bulgaria, Denmark, Estonia, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, United Kingdom (the Markets) and complete the Required Steps set out below.
- When: Sign-up between 7 July 2026, 00:00 UTC to 31 July 2026, 23:59 UTC to be eligible to enter the Prize Draw (the Promotion Period). The Cash Reward offer remains active for all new Revolut Personal customers who complete their first spend anytime before 31 December 2026, 23:59 UTC.
These Promotion Terms set out the rules that apply to this promotion. You must comply with these Promotion Terms as well as the Personal Terms that apply to your Revolut Personal account.
Eligibility and Required Steps
To be eligible for this promotion, you must:
- have a residential address in a Market,
- not have, or have previously held, a Revolut Personal account with any Revolut group entity, and
- be at least 18 years old.
The Required Steps are:
- follow the unique link for the promotion. This link will be shared by Revolut and Sziget Festival on social media and in email communications (the Promotion Invitation),
- use the unique link in the Promotion Invitation to successfully open a Revolut Personal account, completing our Know Your Customer (KYC) checks before the end of the Promotion Period. If you open a Revolut Personal account using the normal account opening process in the Revolut app, you won’t be eligible to participate in this promotion, and
- make a single debit card payment of at least 1EUR or 1GBP (or local currency equivalent, based on the exchange value at the time of your transaction - see Revolut’s currency converter). For customers residing in France, the debit card payment must be of at least €0.01. Your first debit card payment can be made using a physical or virtual Revolut debit card linked to your Revolut Personal account. Each transaction must be a genuine purchase (see the section below for a list of transactions which do not count as genuine). Any transactions that are refunded, reversed or cancelled will not count towards this requirement.
Completing step 3 is only required to receive the Welcome Bonus and is not required to enter the Prize Draw.
What is a genuine card payment?
Your first card payment can be made using a physical or virtual Revolut card. It must be a genuine purchase, transactions to payment service providers, other bank accounts, and e-wallets are excluded.
A transaction counts as genuine when you use your Revolut card to buy real goods or services from an independent business at their regular market price. Moving money (like transfers or card top ups), cash equivalents (like buying gift cards or currencies), and refunded purchases don't count as genuine.
When do I get the Welcome Bonus?
We’ll credit the Welcome Bonus into your Revolut Personal account within 30 calendar days of you completing the Required Steps above.
How does the Prize Draw work?
Within 10 calendar days after the end of the Promotion Period, we’ll randomly select five winners from all eligible participants who have completed step 1 and 2 of the Required Steps above. The chance of winning depends on the total number of eligible entries received.
If you’re a winner, we’ll notify you via the email address registered to your Revolut Personal account. You’ll have 48 hours from the time we contact you to accept the Prize and provide us with any requested information. If you don’t respond to us within this time, you forfeit the Prize and an alternative winner will be randomly selected.
Once the winner has accepted the Prize, we will arrange for the Prize and necessary details to be sent via email within 30 days of the Prize being accepted. Cash elements will be deposited to your Revolut Personal account.
The Prize does not include any costs related to travel, accommodation or other expenses in attending the event. If you win, you’ll be responsible for such costs.

Changes or early end | If the promotion changes or ends early but has not been withdrawn, we will tell you the same way we invited you to the promotion. If you have already participated in the promotion, we will give notice through the Revolut app and/or email. Don’t worry – if you’ve already taken part in the promotion, changes to the promotion Terms won’t affect you unless reasonably unforeseeable circumstances outside of our control have made it impossible for us to run the promotion. |
Withdrawal from the agreement | You can withdraw from this promotion free of charge and without having to indicate any reason within the first 14 days of participating by letting us know through the Revolut app or by emailing us at support@revolut.com, provided that the promotion is not yet fully executed or has not ended. |
Loss | Revolut will not be liable for any loss, whether directly or indirectly suffered, as a result of a reasonably unforeseeable event outside of its control which means we are unable to continue running the promotion as planned. Nothing in these Promotion Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury, or damages resulting from fraud or gross negligence. Please contact Support if you believe you qualify for a particular benefit in relation to the promotion that has not been awarded to you as a result of early suspension or termination. |
Fraud or rule-breaking | If you breach the Personal Terms, these Promotion Terms, or participate in the promotion fraudulently, we may reverse any Rewards. By proceeding, you authorise and consent to any such reversal in advance. |
Account closed or restricted | To be eligible to receive the Reward, you must have an active Revolut Personal account (not closed, suspended or restricted) throughout the Promotion Period and until 10 days after the end of the Promotion Period. To be eligible to receive the Cash Reward, you must have an active Revolut Personal account (not closed, suspended or restricted) at the time you are due to receive the Cash Reward. |
Taxes | You’re responsible for any local tax that applies to your Cash Reward and/or Reward. Revolut doesn’t accept any liability for tax arising from your participation in the promotion. |
Tax in Spain | If you are a resident of Spain, any prize, such as the Cash Reward and/or Reward, is subject to Personal Income Tax. The full amount of the prize will be paid to you, and no withholding will be applied. You are solely responsible for declaring the value of your Cash Reward and/or Reward and paying any applicable taxes (currently 19%) to the Spanish tax authorities. |
If you reside in the Netherlands | If you are a resident of the Netherlands, the following conditions also apply to you: We hereby confirm that this promotion is in accordance with the Dutch Code of Conduct for Promotional Games of Chance. If you have a complaint about this promotion, please contact Support via the Revolut app and let them know that you want to make a complaint. We will investigate your complaint and try to resolve matters as quickly as possible via email. If you are not satisfied with the way we have handled your complaint, you can still submit your complaint to the Dutch Gambling Authority. In accordance with the Dutch tax rules for promotional games, Revolut is legally obliged to withhold tax on behalf of the winners on prizes exceeding 449 EUR.
