1. This benefit gives you access to one free ride of up to 10 minutes on Dott shared e-scooters and e-bikes, every calendar month by using a monthly promo code in the Partner App (the Benefit).
2. These terms (the Offer Terms) are Revolut Bank UAB’s (acting where applicable through the local branch that provides you with your Revolut account) terms that apply to the Benefit available under the Student Benefits Promotion. They form part of, and should be read together with the Student Benefits Promotion Terms and Conditions (the Student Benefits Promotion T&Cs). In the event of any conflict, these Offer Terms prevail in respect of matters specific to the Benefit.
3. The underlying Benefit is provided by our third-party partner: em Transit B.V., and its affiliates, trading as “Dott” (the Partner). When you redeem the Benefit, you take it out directly with the Partner (the Partner Benefit) and, in doing so, agree to the Partner's General Terms and Conditions (the Partner Terms), which govern your use of the Partner's service and the Benefit. Revolut has no control over that relationship and will not be responsible for any issues arising from or in connection with the service the Partner provides to you. This does not limit Revolut's responsibility for its own acts or omissions.
4. In order to redeem this Benefit, you must follow the steps set out below:
a. Go to your Revolut Student Benefits Hub by clicking on “Profile” in the top left hand corner and clicking on “Student Benefits”;
b. In the Student Benefits Hub, select Dott. On iOS, this sits under Subscriptions and opens in your browser;
c. Click on ‘Go to Dott’ and you will be redirected to a Dott landing page
d. If you do not already have the Dott app, you will be taken to download it. Open the app and log in or sign up;
e.If you already have a Dott account, you do not need to create a new one. If you are logged in, the code applies as soon as the Dott app opens; if you are logged out, it applies once you log in. You must have and maintain an active Dott account in good standing to redeem the Benefit.
f. Your unique promo code will be applied automatically in the Dott app. You can find it in the Menu, under “Promos”.
g. Before starting your ride, check that the correct code is selected in the Dott app
5. Subject to point 15 of these Offer Terms, we will issue you a monthly promo code for as long as the Dott Benefit, the Student Benefits Promotion and your participation in it remain active and eligible, unless ended earlier under the Promotion T&Cs and/or the Partner Terms.
6. Each promo code:
a. is valid for the calendar month in which it is issued to you and cannot be extended or renewed once it has passed;
b. will be replaced automatically in your Revolut app every month, so long as you remain eligible for the Benefit;
c. entitles you to one ride of up to 10 minutes (including the unlock fee). Standard pay-as-you-go pricing of the Partner applies for the rest of the ride and any further rides you take;
d. unused minutes expire at the end of the ride and cannot be carried over to subsequent months or subsequent rides. For the avoidance of doubt, the 10 minutes can be used only on a single ride.
7. If your participation in the Student Benefits Promotion ends for any reason, including because the promotion itself ends, or because you cease to meet the eligibility criteria (such as upon graduation, loss of eligibility, or failure to re-verify your university email), your promotional access to this Benefit will end and you will no longer be able to redeem it through the promotion. If you later become eligible again, you will not be granted a new or replacement promotional code in the same calendar month and will only have access to your original code.
8. Any Partner Benefit you have already redeemed is separate: it may continue, renew or end under the Partner's Terms, and some may convert into a paid Benefit unless you cancel directly with the Partner. You may also decide to terminate your Dott Benefit at any time in accordance with the Partner's Terms, by following the steps set out in the Partner App.
9. Benefits and any promotional code are personal, non-transferable, non-cumulative and cannot be sold, gifted or exchanged for cash or other products with Revolut or Partner.
10. The Benefit offer is for personal use by eligible Revolut users only. The Benefit is only available to Student Benefits Promotion users in certain markets and if it is not shown to you in the Revolut app, it is not available to you.
11. You can hold only one active Benefit code at a time, and codes cannot be stacked or combined. Where the Partner Benefit is available under both your Revolut Paid Plan and the Student Benefits Promotion the better benefit will apply. In this case, the Benefit attached to your Revolut Paid Plan applies and no Student Benefits Promotion code will be issued to you. If you move to a Revolut Plan which does not include the Dott benefit and, as a result, are no longer eligible for the relevant Benefit, you will be eligible to redeem the Benefit via the Student Benefits Promotion for that same calendar month by following the steps set out in clause 4 of these terms.
12. The Benefit is available only to:
- Revolut customers who have a personal account opened under our Personal Terms with no restrictions, and
- meet the eligibility criteria for the Student Benefits Promotion.
13. By claiming up to this Benefit, you agree to the Partner Terms which are Dott’s General Terms and Conditions for your country and are available at https://ridedott.com/terms-and-conditions/
14. In the event that the Partner URL does not work, please reach out to Revolut Support. For any issues in relation to the Partner’s products or services , please refer to Dott's customer service team at support@ridedott.com
15. The Benefit and the Offer Terms may only be changed due to:
- changes to the Partner’s offer;
- termination of our Partner agreement; or
- legal or regulatory requirements.
16. Where a change to the Benefit is to your disadvantage, we will give you at least 30 days' advance notice so that you can cancel before it takes effect. In each case, this notice requirement does not apply where:
a. the Benefit ends because you no longer meet the eligibility criteria; or
b. the Benefit ends because the Promotion ends for any reason; or
c. the change is required for an unforeseeable reason outside of our control (for example, a fact related to the Partner); or
d. we are adding purely administrative or informational wording to these terms, including adding or updating details of participating local branches or Revolut entities.
