What is technical analysis?
Share prices can be analysed through what is known as technical and fundamental analysis. Technical analysis seeks to anticipate future price movements of shares by looking at historical price and volume data. By studying previous price trends, technical analysts attempt to identify whether a stock is about to enter a bullish or bearish trend.
Please note that financial analyses and ratios should not be looked at in isolation when making investing decisions.
