Why did you ask me for additional information about payer/beneficiary?

Sometimes we need to perform additional checks on the funds that are moving through Revolut. Our system chooses a transfer, and then we need to ask you for additional documentation or information.

If your transfer is pending for longer than usual, you can provide us with a transfer confirmation on chat and we will do our best to resolve it as quickly as possible.

A transfer confirmation is a document you can get from the financial institution that is sending the funds. It is usually in PDF format. It should contain information such as:

  • full name and account number of the sender,
  • name provided and account number of the recipient,
  • amount of the funds transferred,
  • date of transfer.
