Payment declined due to geolocation mismatch

If a payment was declined due to a localisation mismatch, it means that the terminal's location didn't match the location of your phone at the time of the payment.

It can happen if the location of the device is turned off (can be caused by lost internet connection) or if the app had the location access disabled. In such case, your old location record is used.

In case the app shows such reason for decline, you can either update the location of the device or turn the 'Location-based security' option off in the 'Cards' section by choosing PIN & Security tab.
