What is an API key and where can I find it?

An API key is a string of characters that is used to make sure that the merchant is creating orders and taking payments from customers, as well as other operations.

The API key is unique to each merchant and can be found inside your Revolut Business web portal.

To locate your API key:

• Log in to your Revolut Business portal.
• From the left sidebar menu, click Merchant, and then click the API tab on the page.
• Under the Product API key section you will find the API key.

Bear in mind that if this is the first time you are using this API key, you will have to generate it. Just click the “Generate” button and we’ll take care of the rest.
